Shocking

"Apparently (during this lockdown) and according to Hermes - I wasn't in to accept my delivery. On checking when the delivery attempts were made (there were two attempts) the first one was at 11.31pm!! and the second was at 12.31am!!! I was indeed in - bed. No card left and so I have absolutely no contact details to chase my order which was made via Amazon. Tried to contact Amazon, who referred me to Courier, and so it goes on. "

Thieves

"Very disappointed about these thieves the driver stolen my parcel worth 150£ and because I didn’t payed insurance ive lost the money. I found this disturbing because they are obligated to carry the parcel no matter what money u pay for... the parcel been collected from my house and the next day received an email saying been lost and not even arrived to the depot... how do you explain that? The customer service is very bad and the claim services aswell... when u email the ceo someone else is answering wich i dont get the point ...this company is a shame and I advise everyone to avoid them because they are stilling the parcels... use ups dpd dhl they way much better and serious with the customers...i will go with a layer and try to make it public on the news... they taking advantages of this period and steal the parcels

"If there is 0, I will give a 0. It said my parcel was delivered, but no one calls me or knock the door or even ring the bell. No signature picture, driver just signed with my name. I have no idea where they deliver the parcel to. No human in the custom service, all replies from Twitter ask you to contact the seller. Excuse me, that is your fault! The company is stealing all parcels and no where to complaint. Rubbish company with full of robbers!"

Very bad experience

"I am very disappointed. The first time my parcel was squashed and the item was broken contact tje seller they send me second one and Hermes delivered to wrong address. I received emails saying the parcel was delivered. How anointing. From many deliveries onk once i had delivered with no problems"

Horrible

"I have had so many problems with Hermes over the years, as have my friends and colleagues. They're a running joke in the UK.

I had a parcel delivered this morning. The box had been ripped open and some of the contents stolen. Inside someone had stolen a parcel from a resident a few roads down and shoved the empty packaging in my box to hide it.

I shall let Hermes know I thought? Of course I was wrong. As it's been delivered you can't speak to anyone aside from who you ordered the parcel from originally. Ah yes.. the company I ordered from clearly went out of their way to steal their own product after boxing it and follow the van to steal someone else's random purchase too.

You can't complain and the driver/ whoever stole the items just gets away with it. Absolutely fuming. I feel so bad for the man who isn't going to receive his parcel either.

Would like to point out this is the same driver we have watched multiple times, pull up outside the house, hasn't been able to find/ couldn't be bothered to find the parcel and sent a "sorry you weren't in" email after we had watched him out of the window not even come near the house. Total joke of a delivery service.

Customer service does not exist

"Parcel have been returned. My cutomers have been told to contac us. We have not recived any email, text message or a call. WE have no idea what is going. I'm trying to contact customer service, everywhere only bots are talking. Is good until is good. If you will have a problem with delviery, trust me it is a nightmare to find out what is next. Better pay an extra £1 for DPD but you will be garuantee that everything will be handled with care even your delivery has failed.

Terrible service - Zero communication

"Hermes UK provides maybe the worst services possible when it comes to delivering parcels. I have repeatedly had the same issue: parcels did not arrive on time. When tracking the shipment online there is simply NO WAY of contacting them. Things that should be straightforward like track your parcel, contact the driver and contact the company to say the least, are simply impossible with Hermes.

Stay away or get ready to waste your time.

Bad experiance

"Very bad experiance Hermes driver…
Very bad experiance Hermes driver picked up my parcel from parcelshop according to the shop but was not scanned or taken to depot. Now are Hermes employing drivers without checking their dbs and our parcels are being stolen. How can a box weighing 9.5kg get lost or not be seen anywhere in the depot just makes no sense. If it was a lightweight item like a letter or small packet its understandable. Now my 9.5kg parcel according to Hermes is lost. Never use Hermes rather pay Royal Mail or Parcelforce the bit extra atleast the delivery is gauranteed.

Awful

"Absolute nightmare, if you have a job that you cant drop last minute to receive delivery you will not get it. First item they tried to deliver once .. then didnt bother again till 8 days later as they had lost the parcel. The 2and time they only tried to deliver twice, I went onto the website and diverted to a neigbour but even though I had a confirmation email it didnt work , then they text at 10:55 to say it was going to be delivered between 9-1 that day, when I went onto the website they had already tried to deliver!! Then they only tried twice .. I have tracking on their website .. but they say they tried 3 times and are returning to sender .. and of course .. can never get a human by phone or chat! If people use these clowns I will have to stop online shopping unless a courier choice is introduced !"

Awful service

"Would give 0 if I could. The company is one huge let down in their excuses as to why they cant deliver on time and rarely deliver on the expected day.
The courier has had a stinking attitude on several occasions.
She doesn't like to ring the bell, knocks very quietly if she knocks at all.
We left note on the door, to say ring the bell as we can't hear the door knock in all rooms as we live in a large house.
She still doesn't ring the bell after that, we then caught her one day and told her to ring the bell, she said she doesn't like ringing it 'as we have a nest doorbell' she said she's concerned we might ask her to take the parcel elsewhere if we are out.
Once we were out, she came to the door and didn't ring again....she starting filling an 'I missed you note'.....nest notified us that someone was on our drive 'she didn't know nest could do this ....as she walked away back to her van, we got onto the nest app and called the courier back to the door via the doorbell....we asked her to take the parcel to our next door neighbour. To which she huffed and said this parcel is heavy you know.
Really poor customer service,
Difficult to complain to hermes, or talk to a customer services representative which makes me more angry. I don't want to chat to a computer online.
I avoid companies now that use hermes to deliver. I don't want the hassle, so would rather purchase my goods of a company that doesn't use hermes.
Amazon in contrast are perfect, always deliver on the expected day, within the timeslot - they have helpful couriers that actually ring the doorbell...which is just great.

Horrific service 0/5 stars

"Would rate 0/5 if I could. Please be warned about the horrendous 'service' provided by My Hermes. I used their courier service recently to send gifts to a friend. When the parcel did not arrive I tried to follow up to find out what had happened. It took several days to speak to someone directly on the phone as the telephone number provided was initially answered by an automated voice stating the tracking service was not available and answers to any queries could be found on the website, alternatively email them. The call was then hung up. The email address came back mailer error. When I eventually spoke to the customer services dept I was informed my parcel had become damaged whilst in their care and they had destroyed it. I was emailed a link to make a claim but My Hermes have continued to dodge responsibility for their actions and are refusing to compensate me despite my having paid extra for additional insurance. I was promised a manager would call me back when I insisted on making a formal complaint - that was 20 days ago and I am still waiting.
I have never left a negative review in my life but want to warn others against using this company and risking a similar outcome.

The worst service ever

"Sent a parcel , evev paid extra for a full cover , when the costumer recived , the item was damaged all broke inside even if i managed to put in 2 boxes , use a full roll of buble wrap and add a lot of paper inside. Contacted them and the person in chat very rude with out answers only said sorry . **** service , you waste your money"
