"Although Netshops had the cheapest price on a rabbit cage I wanted to purchase, admittedly I was a little nervous to use them because of the bad reviews. I went ahead with the order anyway, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think I figured out the reason behind the bad reviews. I believe NetShops.com is a Drop Ship company. Meaning that various merchants use them to advertise, list, and sell their products. However the actual shipping of the product, the quality of the product, and the customer service of the received product will be out of NetShops hands and in the hands of the merchant.
What does this mean to you? Your experience will only be as good as the merchant and product you choose. In my case, I chose a Prevue Hendryx rabbit cage and I was delighted with the speed of shipment, the quality of the cage, and the wonderful customer service they gave after the sale.
Bottom line: If you know the product and merchant you are buying from you should be safe purchasing through NetShops."
"Ordered a Manfrotto monopod on 4/26. Netshops failed to use the shipping address I provided and used the billing address, which was a PO Box. The package sat in a FedEx over 150 miles away for almost a week before I called and let them know where to send it. When the package finally arrived a week late, it was empty. I immediately called Netshops to refund my money. I have not yet recieved an email confirming the refund. I will update this review when and if I get my refund. I would highly recommend staying away from Netshops, there are so many other reliable online sellers. I usually go with B&H for my camera stuff but this time I didn't and I regret it. Stay away from Netshops and search for a reliable seller with a good rating on this site."
"I have placed six orders in the last 2 months with netshops.com and in particular with telescopes.com for various scopes and accessories. Half of the items have been returned due to their low quality. The reviews of their products are mostly fakes. I have done my reviews as well and was promised $10 coupons for them. The coupons were not valid and the reviews that had negative content about the products were never published or they were edited. Service is good but customer service is questionable. They did credit my account for the returned items bur they have also ignored my requests for their fake coupons. I do not recommend their telescopes.com store unless you plan to place one and only one order."

Nov 8th I ordered the Shermag bed from SimplyBeds through their NetShops website; I noticed several (6 erroneous) debits and credits to my PayPal account before an accurate amount was debited; No emails or communication until delivery date set mid-Dec; Bed arrived damaged, not shipping box (headboard leg broken completely off, side rails warped beyond usage, hardware package had been opened as if bed had been returned previously) I contacted NetShops Cust Service the next morning; Several emails on status sent; Requested to send pictures to "prove" damage; Sent several digital pictures; No further communication received; After I sent several emails requesting status, at end of Dec I was told a replacement bed would be shipped w/in 1 week & to discard damaged bed; No additional status received; Jan, contacted NetShops-was told bed replacement order was completed by supplier Jan 7th with receipt w/in 2 weeks. No bed-no communication received. Emailed NetShops Cust Service-email returned due to my Cust Ser rep left NetShops; Called NetShops Cus Serv again-new rep assigned-she would send me her contact name/number via email and provide status follow-up w/in 3 days; Never received contact info or response; I emailed SimplyBeds Cust Ser directly; Was told replacement order was placed Jan 20th; After additional inquiries by me-was told their was SimplyBeds could not provide any information regarding status or tracking numbers of replacement order-information of order not in their system (unbelievable) Additional inquires requesting status since have been unanswered.
3 months later and I do not have a bed or a tracking number guaranteeing shipment. Return my money
I have also notified PayPal of your company's suspious practices.

I ordered though their store: patioheaterstore.com. I ordered a patio heater and delevered by FedEx - the package never arrived. I called FedEx who confirmed they delivered the box - I got the date and time they said they delivered it and checked the security cameras - no delivery that day, hhhmmm FedEx was very quiet.
Their driver would 'locate the package' are call me - FedEx never called. I called the Patioheaterstore.com to update them - they instantly sent me another one, credited the amount of the first 'lost package' - the second heater arrived without problem within 2 days - on the 28th (20 days later) the Fedex guy shows up with the first package.
He had the lame excuse: that on his day off, another driver left it at the worng address where it has been sitting ever since.
Patioheaterstore.com - quality, good communication Fedex caused the problem and tried to cover it up."

I dealt with binoculars.com which is a part of netshops. I had both positive and frustrating experiences. I would urge some caution dealing with this store.
Positive:
I got great information from the people who helped me select binoculars. One person in particular really took time to understand what I wanted and to help me sort through the technical specifications of the various options.
Negative:
Due to a bit of confusion, two separate orders were placed instead of one. One order arrived ahead of the other. When I attempted to find out when I could expect the second order to arrive I got curt replies and no help. The second order ended up arriving WEEKS after the first. After all that time, it was incomplete. I also had a separate experience in which I returned two items and found that only one of them was credited back to my card. When I called to inquire I was told that this was just the nature of the procedure. The person to whom I spoke didn't quite seem to understand that two items sent in one box should not be credited weeks apart. This gave me the sense that whatever the procedural problem might have been, it would not be addressed in the future since it was not recognized as a problem. "

"I placed an order on 12/12/07 from netshops.com using a $10 off $10 promo code. My order total was originally $10; however, with the promotion, I was to get the item (a water bottle) for free. This item was shown as available when I placed my order. Right after placing my order I received my order confirmation email. However, the following day (about 31 hours after the order was placed), I received another email stating that my order had been canceled as the item was out of stock. In my book, a late cancellation of an order following a significant promotion, places the retailer in the shady business category and I will not be placing orders with netshops.com again."
