"I ordered two pairs of shoes thanks to having received a 15% discount email. The email said I would receive the discount at check-out, so I continued the purchase process hoping I would see the discounted price at the end. I kept going and going, and nothing happened. I then thought that perhaps they would send me a 15% refund back, or a coupon for the amount (this was my first time buying through them). Nothing happened. I received the items, and meanwhile started to try and communicate with customer service to get a retroactive adjustment. I first tried through the email box, and they would be completely scattered: not answer for days, then ask me to forward the email with the discount as proof (which I did), and disappear again; I finally picked up the phone. I had to re-explain the whole issue as they did not have any record of my emails, and the operator promised they would get to me within 24 hours. Never heard from them again. I am honestly too busy to chase after a customer service office for days and even weeks! I will try to return both items, but given the other reviews I am now concerned I will never see a refund back. Stay away from this vendor! I wish I had checked the reviews. But they will not fool me twice."
"Ordered two item from sale catalog, after waiting one month I finally received them but sweater was too big so I sent it back for an exchange. I waited and waited (another month and nothing) I finally called and they said it just arrived today, so they would do the exchange for me and send right out.. Two weeks later I received an email and it said they JUST received my return and issued a refund! I WANTED AN EXCHANGE! So disappointed in this company. Love the clothes but not sure I will reorder anything from them again. You wait way to long for items to come and IF they are incorrect, watch out!

"Terrible, terrible, terrible. I ordered 2 gifts cards for a friend. They came to me but the gift cards said the gift was for me, compliments of me. Does that make any sense? Why would I send a gift card to myself? I called them to complain so they sent me 2 more gift cards but the dollar amount on both was $0.00 each. Does that make any sense? I called again and not getting any results from that call, I said I wanted my money back. $160.00. They said they would send it. After waiting and waiting, I called again. I was on the phone with them for almost an hour and I kept getting the run around from multiple "customer service agents". I must have spoken to 15 of them and I could tell they were from overseas. I will go to the Massachusetts Attorney General next. That's where they say their address is, Chelmsford MA. It's a PO Box number too so that should tell you something right there. "
"Wish I had read reviews first. They send a Christmas catalog with cute clothes to order for CHRISTMAS, right? Ordered several items on December 5th. It's the 30th and I still don't have. They çharge a LOT for shipping but I learned they actually send orders the cheapest way possible. Cute clothes or no they will not stay in business with this kind of service. Wonder if I'll ever see the order. Some folks are still waiting after 2 months according to their reviews."
"I placed a large order on November 23rd. I had recently moved, and did not update my new address with my Credit Card company. North Style emailed me to correct this on November 23rd, and the address was corrected, (which North Style verified) Nonetheless, one month later, the items have never shipped. I have records of every call I made ( 6), and with every call I was assured that the billing address was corrected and "fine", and each time I called, I was told that the order was in the warehouse being "processed", and would be shipping in a day. That never happened. Each week I called and was told the same thing. It seemed I always spoke to the same girl with an Indian sounding accent (K.J.?), and she spoke to me as though she could not care less. I spoke to a man on Tuesday who said my items were being upgraded to Expedited Shipping and that I would have them on the 23rd. Today, the 23rd, I called and cancelled my order. I have never experienced so many lies, and such terrible customer service in my life. I am glad this company is so successful that it can throw away $500 orders without a care. They won't have to worry about me spending my money with them ever again, and I will be sure to tell my friends and family to steer clear of this so called company."
"I ordered three items totaling about $200 from their catalog, using the call-in number, on Dec. 11th. (when you call in, they try to offer you “discounts on..” and “free..” and upsales.. after 4 such offers, I told the little girl “no, I only want to place an order”. After the order process, I never received any confirmation that the order was placed. On Dec. 18, I tried to search my order number on line.. virtually impossible. I could not not find ANY way to research the order online, so I called. The girl said “I see that your order is still in the warehouse” and I asked why it had not shipped (it’s been 7 days) and she argued “it’s only been 5 business days” .. so I said “WHEN will it ship?” and she said “maybe next week”. Maybe? If we don’t receive the order by Christmas (will have been over two weeks since ordering) I’m cancelling it and will update this review. At this point, I give them one star - sorry, sorry way to run a business. "
"I have been dealing with NorthStyle since the beginning of October. They owe me over $170 for items I did not order. Repeated contacts to customer service have been a waste of many hours; yes, hours. Today the representative had a rooster and chickens in the background. Again I was told his system was not working properly. I am tired of this. How can I speak to someone that can help me. I think I may call a Boston news station to investigate.

"DO NOT ORDER!!!!!! I read several bad reviews of this company and foolishly decided the issues these other customers had were due to consumer error (Example: ordering the wrong size or not reading the fine print of terms & conditions for rebates). WRONG!!! I have been given the run around for over 3 hours trying to get ahold of customer service. The order I placed was over 5 days ago with still no shipping information. It's impossible to get ahold of customer service and when you do finally get ahold of someone they will "transfer" you to a supervisor, you will sit there like an idiot for 20-45 minutes waiting only to be eventually hung up on and not called back. You will also order items that say "in stock" only to later find out it has magically become backordered indefinitely. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! "
"This is the worst company to ever do business with. I received a gift card as a Christmas present. There is no way to use it when shopping online. I called them 3 times before placing my order and all 3 times no one was able to help me by telling me how to use it. So last night I placed the order with the plan to call them to have the gift card applied. NOPE...customer service is closed at 4pm EST. So I call the next morning and I am told too late. Customer service ****. My call was transferred 5 times. I had to keep retelling the same story over and over followed by I will transfer your call again. All this is not worth the $50 value of the gift card. I will never shop here again and be happy to spread the word.

"I ordered a dress for a special occaision and paid for expedited shipping.
The website says for Standard US Deliveries: 5-7 Business Days. And no mention of time to ship.
Expecting expedited shipping to be faster tha 5-7 days, I paid extra for that and made the purchase on July 27th.
I didn't receive my shipment until 8/6.
Repeated contacts with customer service were completely unhelpful.
At best the web site information is mis-leading. And the company does not appear to card.
I will never purchase anything from NorthStyle again.

"I placed an order on March 6, 2019. On March 11, 2019, I received an email from them offering 15% off knit tops. I perused my order items and discovered most of them qualifying for this discount. My order total was almost $350 and for the items qualifying the discount was almost $38.
I sent an email requesting consideration for this discount to receive a response that previously placed orders do not qualify. NOT HAPPY. Just this morning I placed a call to the customer service number and had a foreign speaking agent tell me the same thing. Absolutely no consideration for the value of the order. I was "offered" $5.00 reduced shipping. I haven't even received the order yet. I'm not sure if I'll accept delivery or refuse it on principle. This organization needs to take some lessons from QVC, L L Bean and Cold water Creek. I can say this. Regardless of what I decide to do with the order in question, I WILL NEVER SHOP FROM THIS RETAILER AGAIN."
"I ordered a pair of pants in the smaller of the 2 sizes I wear. So, when they were a bit tight, I returned them (at a cost of $9.00 with insurance!). I tried the next size, and they too were snug (and frankly barely bigger than the first size.) Again $9.00 to return. I can't afford to shop this catalog anymore."
"I never type reviews but I am so peeved at NorthStyle right now that I would consider it an injustice if I didn't in case anyone else is new to them and considering purchasing an item. This is not my first written review for this problem - my original comment was deleted before it could be posted. Essentially- do not shop with NorthStyle! Product is overpriced, and refund policy of 4-6 weeks is barbaric considering today's electronic banking and the fact that they withdraw the funds to pay for their items within minutes of the order being placed.
No more business from me and I would suggest the same for anyone considering using them. "
"The WORST mail order experience ever! I placed one order for a dress and blouse. The dress came and didn't fit and they made me pay to return it. The blouse was backordered and after two months I called and they said it had been delivered and I had to go through the post office. After four times of going through a dysfunctional robot system that just kept repeating the menu or disconnecting me finally got a human who credited my account. It cost me more $ in terms of my time than the cost of the blouse. NEVER AGAIN..."
