"If you use the PalmOne/Treo branded "Stereo Headphone adaptor",
the Treo's headphone/external speaker controller will probably stop working as mine and many others (on PalmOne's own forum) did.

PalmOne will only honor WARRANTY REPAIRS
if a Service Repair Order is set-up
by the palmOne telephone Technical Support team.

The numbers for the "Support team”,
***-***-**** AND ***-***-****
menu – map to infinite music-on-hold with intermittent messages advising: “…..please continue to hold..”
followed with: “your estimated wait time is greater than 5 minutes”

I waited 30 minutes, TWICE, at ***-***-****
and 30 minutes, once, at ***-***-****.
I filled out the PalmOne webpage request for help
AND
emailed
****@****
explaining their useless phone numbers.
I received obfuscated replies telling me, again, to call
***-***-****.

My phone has no external speaker and I'm out over $400
and 1 1/2 hours of "hold" time.

Strangely enough,
PalmOne offers to accept the Treo 600 for repair
when it is out of warranty (1 year),
thru a webpage request,
with a hefty fee for repairs

"I don't appreciate being made to feel like a fool, especially when I'm laying out several hundered dollars. store.palmone.com is doing it's best to make sure I never have a nice thing to say about them again. with free overnight shipping offers, "Guaranteed Delivery" banners on most products I placed an order on their site on Tuesday. Not only is it now Friday with no FedEx delivery, but the email they sent me dosen't even include a tracking number. I have to go to their site and look up an automated status page that gives me a direct link to fedex.com. Needless to say that link takes me to an "Invalid: Please check the following numbers and resubmit" page. Meanwhile their customer support pages are plastered with disclaimers like "...even though your package has already shipped from our warehouse and is on its way to you, the carrier may not be able to provide any information about your package for up to 48 hours or more." Which makes perfect sense really, with things moving so fast these days I'm sure shipping companies deliver all sorts of overnight packages without having any tracking information on them.
I've placed 30 orders from different online retailers this year. From car parts to shaving cream. I've never been moved to warn people away from a retailer as with store.palmone.com. Stay away, not worth the headache and heartache.

"order processing/shipping was OK. But when tried to return the item... boy, did the hassle begin. and for what??? especially after paying full retail. Stay away."

"I try to buy a downloadable software from Palmone.com and I gave my account informations.
When I tried to download I got an error message and could't download it.
They had a problem with Handango.com but I was the victim.
They take the money from my bank account and didn't reply any of my e-mails.
I called them and they could,t find any info of me...Strange...How they took my money than?????
Be aware from Palmone.com and Handango.com...

"I Bought a Palm zire 21 from this place and used it for a day and found a glitch.
The Palm looses all data when in contact with an active cell phone.
I then called Palmone and tried to have it returned and they gave me the run around and never did give me an RMA number.
On the 5th call They sent me a UPS lable to have it returned but still not RMA number so I had to call them again and this time they refused to talk to me but that may be due to the huricanes in that area.
They should have given Me an RMA the first few times I called then I would not have to wait another week tell they get their office back up.
