"This is a "good news" "bad news" comment. Ordered a Sony DRU-500A
burner on 11-8. I questioned whether it was in stock and was assured it was. I requested 2nd day air and same day shipment. Again I was assured it would ship
on the 8th and was currently in stock.
I received an email with order confirmation etc. on the 8th. No
tracking number however.
My credit card was charged on the
9th.
On Monday the 11th I called for a
tracking number and told there was a problem. It would ship on Tuesday and they assume the cost of overnight delivery. On Tuesday
I called for a tracking number which they provided however they could not confirm that the drive was shipped. Most of us have been down this road before.
I cancelled the order. No problem and received a credit to my credit card within a day or two. Surprise! Surprise!
These people were courteous, helpfull, and always available. The problem is their credibility of what they were telling me about my shipment left a lot to be desired.
