"I normally do not write reviews but this was such a negative experience i figured i should warn others. I am also hoping that peak 62 will have the chance to see this and get their act together. So i was trying to purchase 2 sleeping pads and while in the check out i tried to submit my order. I had entered some information incorrectly so the web page told me that my order had not gone through, no big deal i corrected it and submitted my order. I received a confirmation and thought great that was easy. I checked my balance on my account the next day to find they had charged me twice for the pads. I thought oh my order must have gone through twice so i called them and spoke with Marty. He told me that it had gone through once on their end and that everything on their end was fine. So i asked Marty why i had been charged twice for one order. He began to tell me it was for my protection and gave me a 10 minute explanation. I asked him what this "protection" was protecting since it clearly was not protecting my money. He told me it was my fault and the banks fault. Someone please tell me how its my fault or my banks fault that they charged me twice for one item? That would not even be possible if their system was set up properly. They had relayed the information to my bank to charge my card while they had rejected my order and told me it needed to be corrected and re submitted. I tried not to be argumentative but when Marty tells my that its my fault that they their site can charged me while rejecting my order at the same time i know He is full of it. I do not have expectations that businesses never make mistakes but its how they handle those mistakes and try to correct them that's important. Marty demonstrated to me that peak 62 will not be held accountable for their mistakes and that they will do nothing to try to correct them in the future. As a result of this experience i will never buy anything from peak 62 ever again period!

Oh i got off the phone with my bank and they confirmed that it was indeed peak 62's fault. I mean why would my bank give them and extra 139$ that they had not requested just for the heck of it. come on!
