"I ordered the Xtend-a-Slide slide duplicator set and the Xtend-a-Sight from Photosolve about late 2009. That was the old version of the Xtend-a-Sight that used a set screw to expand the mount to secure it into the flash shoe. I was never able to tighten the Xtend-a-Sight mount to eliminate wobble. I modified the unit by adding the base from a defective flash so it could be mounted with the tightening wheel from the flash and the modification eliminated the wobble. I sent photos of the modification to Photosolve. I recently bought the Xtend-a-Sight Plus from Photosolve which now has the tightening wheel as I had modified my first Xtend-a-Sight. My wife and I use the two units with red-dot finders, mostly in bird blinds to help us zero in on birds more quickly. Good products, good company to deal with."
