"I placed a LARGE order during a 20% coupon promotion and one of the items I wanted was out of stock. When the item was finally back in stock, there was no coupons running. I wanted to save the money, naturally, so I called and was told to order the item since there was very little left in stock, and I could call to get a coupon refund once there was a coupon. A coupon came out 2 days after I ordered. I called and they said the system wouldn't let them. I emailed playmobil and got a somewhat annoying response with a link explaining how their coupons work. It's bad customer service. I should've been allowed to order the item when it was out of stock, like many companies allow one to do, in order to use my coupon, or playmobil should've just given me the benefit of sale. I've been a playmobil owner for over 20 years and own a lot of merchandise. Shame on you, playmobil, I thought you were better than this!"
"I placed an order and received a notification 5 days later that the order was canceled. The reason given was that credit card authorization failed and the notice just contained boilerplate language rather than a specific reason. They should perform credit card authorization during order placement like everyone else so that any problems can be resolved quickly. Luckily I found a cheaper and better merchant for the product."
