"I have used this reseller several times for the purchase of Mikrotik Routerboard gear. I had been very happy with the service when purchasing these items. The web store works good and the product his shipped quickly.
But then I had a CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ router fail soon after purchase. It would not power up at all. I called roc-noc and got an RMA ticket started and sent the unit back. This was in October of 2014. It is now the end of April 2015 and I still have no replacement or repaired unit.
I emailed a few times and never got a response. I've called a few times and when getting voice mail I never get a call back. When I do get someone on the phone he is often busy and "can't talk right now". If I am able to ask about the RMA status I get a story about how he should have it done within a week. Or that he has had to get additional equipment to work on that model. Or something.
But without fail, what he promises never comes true.
I'm going to have to find a different reseller for any future purchases."
"I was looking for a good, fully manageable 5 port gigabit switch that wasn't too expensive. Roc-noc sells the Mikrotik RouterBoard 260GS which fills the bill quite nicely at ~$45. I bought two via PayPal and they were shipped and arrived very promptly (thanks Tom). After several months of service, one of the Mikrotiks went belly-up (stopped forwarding traffic, all LEDs flashing - and couldn't connect/manage it). Since it was still under warranty I emailed roc-noc to see what I should do. Tom replied very promptly that I should "Send me the serial number and I'll send an RMA." I sent the info immediately, but never heard anything back (after two weeks). I've since sent multiple additional emails and it's been 3 weeks with no further reply from roc-noc.
So I have to say my experience has been very similar to the previous poster (qiehfkslsp). Great initial service to fulfill the order, but little or no follow-through on warranty or repairs.
Sounds like he's understaffed. I run a small business myself, so I know what it's like to wear *all the hats* and juggle lots of issues/priorities. But as customers we depend on him to make good on warranty product failures/issues."
"At first I was very satisfied with roc-nocs service and shipping speed. They shipped out my router same day and everything was received and working. After 2 days of being on the unit died completely, which was a common problem and I do not blame roc-noc for this problem at all. I was able to talk to Tom at roc-noc and he set up an RMA and told me it is a known issue and it should take no more than a week to fix, I figured yeah that's awesome I'm glad it will be fixed, no problem. Shipped it back to them (at my cost) and arrived back at roc-noc the following day, this is when the problem started. It is now the start of February 2015 and I still do not have my router back. I have emailed Tom approximately 15 times to ask what the status was and I have yet to receive an email response back from him. I also have called him multiple times, and he always picks up but has two answers, either he cannot get to it right now to check the status, or he checks it and says "yeah I've been pretty busy it is still here, I will try to get it fixed tonight and back to you within the week". Needless to say, it has been 3 months and I still have no money and no router. Finally I gave up and have requested a full refund back from the company because I am tired of waiting and want my $550 back that he has been holding on to for 3 months now. Of course, I haven't heard back from Tom about that either. I honestly wanted to give them a chance but I have run out of patience. I cannot suggest that anybody else spend their money at roc-noc.com due to the lack of communication and care about customers."

Apparently they shipped within just a couple hours of receiving my order. My item arrived, well packaged, before the estimated delivery date that was provided."
