Criminal and Misleading

"This is by far the worst shopping site I have ever used. They let you know, after the fact, what you can return and how much money you will get back. They will only refund you the lowest amount they have ever sold the item for, even if you paid them twice the amount. If you buy 10 items you will be lucky if you can get a refund on even one item. This place is criminal. I would not recommend Rue La La or their other site Gilt to anyone. You will get ripped off!"

Worst experience of my life with a company!

"Would give 0 stars if it was an option. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company and I will be sure to send this feedback to everyone I know. I have never in my life seen such a drawn out draining process to receive a product and even longer to return it. I paid for expedited two day shipping and my product came two weeks later! I also sent the product back the same day it came to return it and a month later still have yet to receive my refund. With packing and shipping skills like this and and umempathic customer support they won’t be in business long! everyone should not purchase from them so they don’t have to deal with the same gut wrenching experience I had too.

Two pieces of glass sold as a photo frame!

"I bought a Lilly Pulitzer photo frame that looked adorable as advertised. It arrived today and there were two pieces of 1/8 glass without means to assemble. Much to my relief, I noticed, "Returns are free and easy" printed on the receipt.
I tried to generate a return label and received the message that my item was not returnable. I checked the receipt and noted a disclaimer in tiny letters. This double standard policy is unfair to customers.

Buyer beware

"Please make sure if you received something damage, you take lots and lots of pictures. My mistake, I received a broken necklace without the pendant, I returned the package has received without taking pictures and this company refused to issue me a refund but kept the necklace. If you refuse to issue me a refund than the right thing to do was resend me back the necklace so I can sell it and recoup some the money I'm out. They literally stole from me. I'm writing this review to make sure this does not happen to anyone else."

Shipment over 1 year late and poor customer service

"I was actually a long time customer and extremely disappointed with their customer services and regretted for doing business with this organization. I have placed an order and the order was not shipped for over 18 months where they already charged me. As I contacted the customer service, they stated that the order was showing as shipped in 2020 on their system, so they are sorry for what happened but do not take responsibility as a mistake made on their end. When I reviewed the tracking detail, it showed that the shipping company did not receive the order till 2021 summer. I have made multiple complains and requested refund of the items. I checked for several weeks after I shipped back the items and didn't see any refund. After another call with the customer service, I found out that they issued me a credit on the account, which I will no longer use. What a big waste of time and money!"

Not Happy....Poor customer service

"I ordered a bracelet from…
I ordered a bracelet from ForeverCreations in New York a suppose to be diamond bracelet and the quality looked like cheap flakes (mind you nothing described on Rue La La). I spoke to a customer service clerk and she gave me the run around. I sent it back myself and they said the didn’t get it. I called customer service and they said I needed a tracking number. I made my own label and sent it back and they claim it wasn’t in their system. I know what I did. This was a waste of mine 120.00. They will not give my money back. Buyers please beware of Rue La La and ForeverCreations in New York. Fraudulently

Great Business Model to rip off people

"Ordered a watch and Spanx Jean-ish 0 both in one order, same order number, but they were shipped separately.

When the items arrived, way later than supposed to arrive the watch had a different color and the Spanx were larger than usual.

When returning the items they withheld $ 9.99 for each item for shipping!

Now that is a great business model to make money!

We will NEVER EVER EVER use Rue La la again! Ever!

Terrible Phone Service

"Terrible experience! I finally were connected after 30 mins hold on line. This black woman was not speaking a word or greeting after she picked up the phone for about another 5 mins. She is completely in a phased out mode after I said my request then I had to repeat because she did not get it. She hanged up on me before I even finished! She should be fired! Will never return to shop again. Such a pain to shop. It took them 18 days to ship. That's why I call to cancel and return!! Go bankrupt soon. "

"Ordered a suit 8 days ago. They charged my credit card on that day. Delivery day was supposed to be tomorrow. Today I received an e mail saying my order is being cancelled. Seriously? It took 8 days to figure out that you were out of stock, but when the order was placed you had plenty in stock? Inexcusable! Beware of this shoddily run company!"
