Support is non-existing

"Placed an order on 10/16/2021 for 2 cases. The order went into production on 10/19/2021. Then the cases sat in QA Review since 10/19/2021. It's now 10/23/2021 and the order is still not shipped. I called and left a voice mail, sent them 3 emails, filled out their "Contact us" form on their website, and sent them a message via Facebook messenger. No response, no answer, nothing. Their support is non-existing."

Even the Replacement Case was Wrong

"I ordered two cases in November, one for me and one for my partner. We have two different phones so we ordered two different sized cases. They both came in only my partner's size. After talking with customer support, they sent out a replacement case, but it was the same size as the one they sent me last time. It is now February, at this rate, I will get my case in March, if I get it at all. I do not recommend Skinit, nor will I be ordering from them again"

"I Placed an order for a case for my google pixel 4a 5g phone on November 24 and it is now Dec 4th my case is still in printing and I'm ready to request a refund. it does not take this long to print up one design for one phone case. "

Misleading you can’t use any pictures off the internet

"So I bought a skin that was based off the bape logo that I found on the internet a day later after they took my money told me that it was copyrighted and I couldn’t use it so I asked what wasn’t copyrighted and they said anything that wasn’t from the internet which is a lie and probably what 90% of the gaming community wants to put on their controller so don’t waste your time"

Never arrived

"I placed my order in March for an airpod case as a birthday gift for my friend which was a week later. It is now May and I still have not received them and have not received any message for a delay. I have no idea when I will get them or if they are even on their way. Please avoid and don't waste your money like I have. I understand due to Covid-19 that there would be delays with shipping but i definitely did not expect to wait this long. (I'm a bit worried i've been scammed)"

Bad Service

"I purchased several skins some custom some off the website several were shipped via DHL then handed off to USPS no tracking once the post office gets it. Took over two weeks to get the ones that showed up. The custom skins looked nothing like the pics I uploaded the color was not even close. Terrible service they never answer the phone you can leave a message but they never call back. Stay far away bad company."

UNBELIEVABLY UNACCEPTABLE

"I ordered a Dallas cowboys skin for my Pixel 4 XL phone on Valentine's day. It is now February 24th and I have still not received my skin. The company is located in San Diego California and I live in Menifee California which is in Riverside county approximately 65 mi north. There is no excuse for it to have taken 10 days to arrive at my home. When I called them and asked them what was going on they said that DHL their carrier has 10 days to get it to you upon their receival. DHS has had the skin according to the tracking number since February 19th. There is no way it should take 6 days for a product to be delivered within the state of California. Completely unacceptable, customer service is horrible, and I will never order anything from these people again. D brand skins here I come.."

Good case, design print had visual artifacts

"I ordered a custom iPhone case using art that I created myself.

Positives
-The UI for setting up and submitting the design was great.
-The strength and feel of the case was good.
-It was delivered in exactly one week with no hassle. 2 Days to fill the order and 3 for shipping, plus the weekend.

Negatives
-There were 2 visual artifacts on the design. You can't tell immediately just from a quick glance but they're there and they stand out since they're orange and my design was mostly blue. I double checked the design I submitted in Photoshop, but it was definitely a printing error on their part.

I mean it's not the end of the world, the case is still better than the last one I got, but I'm a little hesitant to use them again because of the quality of the print.

it was okay

"i thought i was ordering a xbox one controller with pictures on it. it was not clear that what i was actually ordering was just a sticker to put on a controller. the photo quality is good, but $20 + for a sticker is stupid. and it doesn't look like the best sticker ever, looks like once you go out and buy a controller it wont stay on there for long. do not recommend unless you wanna spend way to much for something you can get cheaper other places

Good product, terrible service

"I ordered a custom iPhone 11 lite case for my mother that has a picture of her granddaughter on it. The graphics look great considering I uploaded a jpeg. The colors tend a bit warm, but they're accurate. The graphics are transferred directly onto the case and aren't a cheap sticker like others have complained. I don't think the case itself would stand up to a ton of abuse, but if I wanted something bombproof I'd have opted for an unadorned Otterbox or something. The finished product is pretty neat and exactly what I'd hoped for and my mom loves it.

The customer service side of this company is awful. I received a confirmation email from Paypal, but nothing from Skinit. After 10 days I emailed them. I got no response. I did a bit off googling and found their predominately dismal reviews, got annoyed and filed a claim with paypal. A few days later a rep told me my case was shipping and that I'd get a tracking number later that day. 2 days later I actually got the tracking info and the case was almost at my mom's place by then.

Now, if a case is going to take 3 weeks from order to delivery, give a customer a head's up so they know what to expect. I could have set my expectations accordingly instead of getting annoyed and wasting everyone's time filing claims and getting myself worked up reading their **** reviews.

If you're going to order from them, this particular product is decent and is presented as advertised. Just be aware that there's a good chance you'll hear nothing from them, then your order will drop on you weeks later with no updates unless you hound them.

Horrible

"Horrible experience. I paid $50 for a customized waterproof iPhone case as a Christmas gift. I received the $14 customized sticker they sell instead. I called and spoke to a girl who said they could remake the order but wouldn’t offer expedited shipping to ensure I received it before Christmas since it’s a gift. I asked to speak to a manager and was told he was at lunch and would call me back. I got an email after multiple requests for an update letting me know that they couldn’t get it to me before Christmas. Hopefully I actually get the refund he said they would process. "

Misleading, Expensive, (Borderline) Scam

"I wish I would have searched reviews so I could have been warned. I tried ordering a PS4 controller skin as a Christmas present for my dad. I was under the impression I would receive a case/cover for the controller. This website is completely MISLEADING. What I got instead was a $25 page of poor quality stickers. I felt crushed upon its arrival. I honestly compare it to that infamous Judge Judy episode where the man got sued for selling a picture of on iPhone rather than an actual iPhone. I waited longer than expected for shipping (which I had to pay for) and am now panicking to get a proper present only days before Christmas. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Poor fit

"The skin arrived quickly and I am pleased with its appearance and the quality of the skin. There were no instructions with the skin but that was easy enough to look up on their website. Suggestion to Skinit, include install instructions.

My concern is the fit. If you line up the cutout of apple logo with the logo on the laptop the sides do not align well. I tried a number of times. If you line up the sides, the Apple logo does not align well. It's not bad but for the cost I expected a better fit.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

"AVOID this company at all costs. Their website looks good and was enough to draw me in to make a purchase but dealing with them is a complete headache. I can't imagine how unprofessional things must be on their end. I placed an order a few weeks ago and I received an email on 10/28 that it had shipped. Their free shipping method is painfully slow (you could probably hitchhike from SD to Chicago faster) but it's free so that makes it more acceptable. So I waited and waited, checking my mail after giving it a week of transit time since they don't provide tracking information with their free shipping and nothing showed up. Even stuff I ordered from the UK AFTER ordering from SkinIt had already showed up. I finally go online and track the order on their website and it says that my order hadn't even shipped yet and was still being printed! I emailed them to find out what was going on and they informed me that the order had been "reopened" (who closed it?) and that it would ship within 2-5 business days, plus an additional 7-10 business days for delivery on top of the damn near 3 weeks I have already waited! But at least they appreciated my patience and apologized for any inconvenience (helpful right?). No explanation as to why it hasn't shipped. Why it was "reopened"? Why did I have to reach out to them first instead of them informing me considering the huge delay? Basically just a "sorry" and keep waiting and we may or may not decide to ship your order. I told the customer service rep via email that I wanted free upgraded shipping due to the inconvenience that was entirely their fault and they wouldn't even consider it so I just cancelled the order instead. You charge $17 for a piece of 3M film, have the slowest snail mail shipping, and can't even provide the simplest form of customer service to a justifiably disgruntled customer? I'll be sure to spread the word. Thanks!"

"I placed my order two weeks ago and paid for 3 day shipping. I placed the order on a Thursday and expected my order to be there Monday, it was not. I called and the gentleman who alerted the phone told me that because they were custom made it wold take about 5 days for the order to be filled. Okay, no big deal. So week later I called to check my order status and the same gentleman told me that it was shipped out on Thursday and I would receive it Tuesday. I payed for 3 day shipping, so I should have received it today. So when I asked would I be refunded the extra money that I payed to have it delivered faster, I was told “no” and directed to read the disclaimer at the very bottom of the page. I feel like it I pay extra money to have my order rush delivered, the process shouldn’t take this long."
