"I bought a 3D printer and accessories directly from the Sovol3D website - BIG MISTAKE
(Wish I had bought thru Amazon, because at least it all could have gone back in the first 30 days!)
The printer arrived with shipping damage and I informed Sovol3D THE SAME DAY about it. It's broken - it doesn't work, I have described the problems in detail and provided pictures to Sovol3D.
Sovol3D has consistently refused to allow me to return the printer.
Their solution is to send me parts so I can fix the printer. I am NOT a service technician, I do not have
such skills, tools or equipment, nor as the purchaser should I have to perform as such. Ludicrous!
Sovol3D does NOT have a factory service location in the USA.
Sovol3D does NOT allow returns to them.
Sovol3D's idea of a warranty involves making you prove there is a problem - with requests to use
test equipment that you probably don't own or know how to use - and then maybe an offer to send you parts
so you can fix the product yourself even though you don't have the knowledge or skills to do so.
Sovol3D has no concept of customer service - more like take your money and customer dis-service.
My payment processor, Paypal, wants me to return the printer to China in order to get a refund. It would cost much more than the transaction amount to do so, and BTW - the printer was shipped to me from a location in the USA, and the website I bought it from portrays product only ships from US to US, and makes you believe it is a US company when really it is a Chinese company.
Also BTW, China does not allow any product made in China to come back into China, and Chinese companies know this and use this fact to prevent product returns. How wonderfully unfair to the US consumer.
I am now out the cost of the printer and accessories - hundreds of dollars. I really have better things to do with my time. This whole experience has been completely negative.
So, do you really want to deal with these types of things if the Sovol3D product you buy has a problem? Imagine what could happen outside of the protection of a platform like Amazon which is probably around 30 days? You all know stuff happens, things don't work, break, etc. Are you really feeling lucky? Do you really want to do business with a Chinese company who does business in the US in such a fashion? I hope NOT, and I strongly urge you to think hard and twice about buying any product from Sovol3D. Just don't do it! Learn from anothers true experience - You have been WARNED, so don't be FOOLISH!"
