"This is my first time buying from Summit Racing Equipment. I usually check the reviews that others leave so I'll be less likely to get into long disputes and problems. Their website is easy to surf and easy to find the right parts that you need. I bought 4 Bilstein shocks and opted for the 2 day upgrade for shipping. I received them in the proper time so I'm sure they had them in stock. They were also boxed very well so they were protected. I will definitely buy from Summit again and use the $20.00 Summit Bucks off of my next order the was offered to me.I even used "THE BILL ME LATER" option at check out...It worked like a charm

"I wish i can say the same good things that are in all the other lying reveiws. Its almost like summit racing gives out some kind of perks to all their employee's for pretending to be stisfied customers. 3 out of 5 times their tech's have no clue what they're talking about honestly the best is when the tech pauses as if he's waiting for the customer to answer his own question and then kinda pretends like he knows what he's talking about. The last great moment i had with summit racing is when i wasn't sure if my 68 camaro 350ci 700R4 automatic trans needed a 168 or 153 tooth flex plate and summits tech told me it was a 153 and sent it to me after getting it UPS and i matched it to the original flex plate, i realized i needed a 168 tooth flex plate, i called summit racing and told them they're tech sent me the wrong flex plate they wouldn't take it back and it was never even installed or even scratched for that matter and they threw a bunch of junk in my face that i returned...a pair of motor mounts not too long ago and again some idiot in the tech department sent me the wrong motor mounts for a sbc 68 camaro auto trans, bottom line is i spent thousands with summit racing i even tried to order a crate engine, summit racing took the money from my credit card in the amount of and about $4,000.00 and a week later i get a 4x6 post card saying it was back orderd. after a month and several phone calls to summit finaly the money went back on my card and i was able to order from year one and guess what year one kept every word to date they ever quoted me. I don't know if all of you know this but you don't need to oder from SUMMIT or JEGS or these big internet warehouses, do your research and bring that info with you to your local speed shop like AA auto and they will match you internet price and they will get your order right and probably in less time. The bottom line is i learned my lesson and would rather give my money to my local neighborhood business's. Support your local business give them the benefit of the doubt.

"On a trip to the US I placed an order worth $1100 with Summit.I was assured that it would be delivered to my US address in 3 to 5 days. After 4 days I phoned to check on the status of the order. It had not been dispatched! I was told they needed additonal information. When asked why they had not contacted me (they had all my contact details in the US)the customer services rep replied that they handled "hundreds or thousands" of orders a day and that they were "too busy" to contact customers when there was a "problem".She said for an additional $50 they could deliver next day.I suggested that since the delay was Summit's fault they should pay the addtional $50.She refused.I cancelled my order and since sourced comparable parts ex the UK for $250 less.My experience with US businesses has always been good but has been soured by my dealings with Summit."
"This was my first order from SRE and they must of shipped my items immediately, I ordered a couple ford racing brake / clutch pedal covers in the afternoon of June 28th and it was at my door the very next day via UPS (Standard ground shipping).
As for shipping charges it was $10, I guess thats average but Im not complaining and would definately order from them again!"

They often have those hard to find items I'm looking for, though I wish they still carried as many items at they used to for my 2001 Toyota 4runner."

"I ordered a set of Qa1 shocks on the 2nd at 7pm pacific time.
There was a problem with the shipping adress VS the billing adress so they called me on the 4th in the morning to make sure the order shipping adress was correct.
I recieved the shocks on the 5th with a hat for no charge.
Considering the delay they got the parts to me in great time and at the best price around with shipping (HANDLING)included."
"Summit claims they ship the same day, and in fact after placing my order on a Wednesday, I almost immediately received a shipping confirmation. Since I had paid extra for two day air shipping, thinking that Thursday and Friday would be the two business days needed to receive the product, I was satisfied, and fully expected to receive my order in time to spend the weekend fixing my car. Must to my surprise, when Summit finally sent me the UPS tracking number, I saw that the order didn't reach UPS until more than 24 hours after I thought it was on its way, in other words, more than one of the shipping days was used before it reached UPS. So now I can expect my order at the end of the business day on Monday, i.e. three business days, plus two weekend days, after spending the basic $10 ground handling charge plus another $25 for expedited two day air, just to get one small item from Nevada to Arizona. It will be a long time before I use Summit again."
