"tascaparts.com's prices were cheaper than anywhere else, so thought I was getting a deal... Yeah right, cheaper prices isn't worth the delays and repeated unfulfilled promises... unless you really don't need the parts for weeks/months. Ironically, their slogan on their website is "Factory Parts Fast!". Yeah right... not even close to accurate.
Throughout the weeks, I contacted support 8 times. Always promised that the order would ship anywhere from 0 to 5 days, and only the last time was it accurate. Every other time, I would wait at least the number of days they said, then contact them again.
They were waiting for 2 of the parts for over a month. Once those were finally received, I was told they would be shipped in 1-2 days. Then after that it still didn't ship, I was told that they found they were missing some of another part I ordered. Once that was received, it still took a week of waiting and contacting support to finally get it to ship, after already waiting over a month.
After 39 total days, and 29 business days... I actually got an email that it shipped!!!
If I hadn't been told time and time again that my order would be filled/shipped a few days later, and had better expectations on the shipping, I would have either cancelled my order and gone with someone else, or been more patient as I had a better idea of when they would be shipped. But when it is always a few days away, I would think it isn't worth cancelling and waiting on another company, but in hindsight, it would have been faster.
I've dealt with other companies that have had long delays in shipping due to backordered parts. But in those cases, my expectations were properly set and they were usually special items purchased directly from the manufacturer, so it wasn't as big of an issue. In this case, I had other options, and was told time and time again that it would ship soon, so I didn't want to cancel my order and go with someone else in case it was actually true. Kind of like dangling the carrot. On the plus side, their Customer service team was always pleasant to chat with; but if I had to choose, I would take rude over inaccurate promises any day.

"I have really had a bad experience ordering Volvo parts from Tasca. I placed an order for a part and then was informed they did not have the part in stock. So I canceled the order. BUT they never confirmed my cancellation and now I am unable to get refund from them. This is one of the worst companies I have tried to communicate. They never answer the phones or respond to email. I suggest you take your business elsewhere."
