"Ordered a dozen items, charged to Discover
8 shipped and billed immediately, 4 were backordered
4 backordered items shipped ~2 weeks later, but TassimoDirect did not bill my card as requested. No communication. Discover confirms no failed payments, no attempt made to process payment.

After ~60 days received a past due email. Contacted TD and requested status of account. Advised they would mail a current balanced statement so I could process payment. Never mailed it.

2 weeks later, called again. Assured by TD that the charge was a mistake, no balance was due, could ignore the notice.

Reviewed all my past orders, comparing charged totals to invoice totals. Discrepancy on nearly every invoice. Not huge amounts, sometimes over and sometimes under, but almost every charge was off by a few dollars compared to invoice.

In October, 6 months after original order, received collection notice. Inquired with TD again, told the balance was legitimate. Requested a copy in writing, TD advised it would be mailed, but after a week it never arrived.

Recontacted TD, attempted to pay the balance and close the account. Advised that they could not accept a credit card payment and would only accept payment via check or money order. Still refuse to provide a copy of the balance due.

All this drama over $17.98.

Entire point of using TassimoDirect.com was hassle free nature of ordering online. Absolutely the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. Phone support is polite and of course very apologetic, but useless and unable to escalate to anyone with the authority to help.

"The Tassimo product seems to be excellent...their customer service is beyond appalling. It has now been 6 weeks since I ordered and no product. I have e-mailed twice and called twice. I have no idea why they have customer service reps on the phones...when I called I was told that my order had not shipped because it was incomplete, but they had no access to the info as to which items were not available, nor when they might be available. I finally cancelled my order with TassimoDirect.com and got the coffeebrewers for the same price from Bed Bath and Beyond. Unfortunately, TassimoDirect seems to have the largest selection of t-discs, so I may still have to order from there. Just looked TassimoDirect up on Better Business Bureau and they are rated a D-"

"Their delivery is extremely slow. It has been 12 days (6 business days due to July 4) and they have not even shipped my order. Their online 'my account' gave me incorrect information regarding shipping date."

"Tassimo is a great single server coffee brewer and Tassimodirect.com has a great selection of coffees for their brewers. If you order from them expect slow delivery and the chance of billing errors. I have ordered from them a few times and each time delivery was painfully slow. On my last order they took 11 days and then had a $24 billing error in their favor. That was finally corrected but still did nothing to improve my buying experience."
