"I purchased a Salamander Synergy TV Cabinet from this online retailer. It has been more than a month now I and I still do not have my product. They contracted with AM Home Delivery to ship my item from NY to Washington State. AM Home Delivery is a joke to work with and has an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau in NY. Why is this company doing business with them. The delivery truck showed up at my house today WITHOUT my package and the proceeded to blame me for not confirming the delivery time. IF I DID NOT CONFIRM THE DELIVERY TIME, WHY DID YOU DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO MY HOUSE? If you are caught in a lie, is always better to stop lying. I contacted the Simple TV Stand Store, who apologized, admitted that they had ongoing problems with AM Home Trucking but that it was out of their hands. Unacceptable. I paid you. I am your customer and you are passing the blame onto an incompetent delivery company as though you had nothing to do with this. YOU HIRED THEM. Miserable experience. Don't, Don't, Don't do business with this group. "

"Ordered tv credenza and was put in backorder purgatory. To keep it short, after two months and twice being told that the backorder ship date was moving, I cancelled my order. Got the impression that I was being strung along. Sorry waste of time and energy. If this company continues to practice sales like this, they won't be in business much longer."
"Buyer beware! The people at The Simple Stores feel no obligation to provide you with merchandise after they have taken your money. The customer service agents may speak politely, but they provide no service. I ordered a table and 2 chairs online on July 12; I received a shipping tracking number from them about July 20; when I went to the shipping site, it stated the item had been shipped on July 18. I waited about 10-14 more days for the promised telephone call to schedule delivery of the table, but it never came. I emailed Simple Stores customer service and received an email response two days later, saying they were working on it. Ater another 5 days with no action, I called The Simple Stores customer service and an agent spent 5 minutes investigating, which is all the time it took for them to find an answer. Clearly, they had done nothing up to this point. I was told that my shipment had been lost. I allowed them to try sending my shipment again, despite the fact that they did not offer any small compensation, such as refunding the $99 shipping charge or even trying to expedite the replacement shipment. After 2 more weeks and still no call from the shipper to schedule delivery, I called The Simple Stores customer service. The agent said he would investigate and call me back, but he did not. I called them again and the next agent said she would call me back after investigating. Later, I received a call and was told three different stories in the span of less than one minute: first that the shipment had been missing two items, then that it was lost, then that it was damaged. The agent agreed to refund my payment, as of he was doing me a favor. There is no mechanism to verify that a customer has actually received the merchandise for which he or she has paid. Once they take your money, it is up to you to make sure you get your items. The furniture was intended for my summer porch, but the summer is almost over. I had purchased 2 of the same chairs in other colors from another merchant on the same day I placed the original order from The Simple Stores because The Simple Stores refused to sell individual chairs, and I have had the chairs I purchased elsewhere for about 6 weeks. It might be wise to save your money and aggravation; I would certainly never buy from The Simple Stores after this experience."

"We had purchased an Eagle Brand corner tv stand, on sale for $802, waited patiently for 6 weeks and unfortunatley was very disappointed. Paid $59 for "in house " delivery, only to find out that it meant put in a garage or a covered porch. Fed ex was not allowed to enter the house. When I removed the bubble wrap, found up to 15 defects , bubbling paint,( we had ordered a white one) chips, scratches and they didn't even fill the nail wholes. They even missed painting the bottom of the doors. I took 24 pictures and emailed them yesterday, waiting to see what they are willing to do. heard back from them the next day, sending a new one,offered white glove service for free. They were very accomadating. Eagle Brand didn't even want the defective one back, told me to donate it. "
