"Hi from NZ Does anyone have any idea how to contact vdo warehouse, we have had no replies from email. Do they have a phone number in service? Any help appreciated, our order has not turned up. TAG"
"As far as I am concerned Amazon should not be dealing with this vendor. I have fooled around with this company trying to find out about my order and all they could come up with on August 6th that the order was lost in the mail and they were not able to track the order as they do not send out orders with tracking numbers. The book I wanted to purchase cost over $56.00 and it seems to me that they would want to insure delivery -- I wonder what the S&H charges were for. I asked for an apology note from them seeing this was a Birthday present and it was ordered in plenty of time but my request was ignored. I was told that the book was on back order and they would send me another one when it came in but could not give me any idea as to when they would be receiving the order. My rating is ZERO!"
"I ordered an obscure DVD title "Flambards" for an excellent price.
Unlike most companies, they didn't overcharge on shipping cost to Alaska. $3.45 is even less than USPS Priority Mail, yet it arrived in less than 10 days from invoice date."
"I purchased a rare dvd box set, the pricing was cheapest i could find and they had it in stock. I placed the order and got an immediate order confirmation. Two hours later i got already the shipping notification and a week later i had the dvd in my hand. VERY good service, fast delivery and good pricing!"
"I placed the order through Amazon Marketplace on 30 Sep 2005 and received email notification of order shipment on 3 Oct. I live in the US Virgin Islands, so I emailed them before hand to make sure they could/would ship via USPS. I offered to pay a little more to have my movies shipped via Priority Mail. The first response was "sorry" by one customer service rep, then a 2nd reply said "no problem". I had not received anything by 13 Oct, so I emailed them about the EXACT shipping method - they assured me it was via Priority Mail. Media Mail takes 4 to 6 weeks, usually, to get here. They said to wait another 3 to 5 business days then contact them. I did, and they SAY they re shipped on 28 Oct. It is now 15 Nov and I still have not received either shipping. Had I checked here first, I would not have ordered through them. So much for trusting the vendors at Amazon Marketplace. I suspect they mailed Media Mail, so I will wait another week (stupid, I know) just in case. One other interesting fact is their website listed the movies I ordered (Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick) was several dollars LOWER through their site directly."
"Shipping takes forever if they ship at all. Customer Service stinks and they don't try to help you at all - could care less.
Very poor way to do business......"
"Here is my issue. I ordered the DVD set "Road to Avonlea" season 5 from VDOWAREHOUSE.COM website. They are located in New York. The date of the order was May 20th 2005. They promptly charged my credit card, and according to them the order was sent on June 8th, as it was a backorder. After 16 days waiting from the ship date the order arrived at my house today (Friday 6/24/05) completely damaged. The DVD set came in a typical large DVD case that held the 4 DVD set. The case was completely broken down the seam, and all 4 DVD's had seperated from the case and are all totally scratched and damaged. I tried calling VDO warehouse customer service 15 times today between 2pm and 4pm and there was no answer, even though the recorded message states they are open from 9am-5pm. Since this was a PAYPAL transaction, I incorrectly assumed I was protected, but when I filed a claim they denied it, telling me their service only helps related to the shipment of goods, not the condition they are received in!! Isn't that just fine? I emailed VDO warehouse and still have received no response. This was a birthday present for my daughter. I recommend no one use their service, as it is shabby and their packaging was obviously terrible- the DVD set was no bubble wrapped and did not come in a box to protect it, just a measly envelope."
