"I could not be more dissatisfied with Velux in refusing to replace 3 of 4 2270 skylights that I ordered and received online. When the trucking company delivered them in late November or early December, we carried them into the sunroom where they were to be installed after winter. I never opened the boxes even though I tried to slip one out to look at it, but they are packed so tight...I would have had to destroy the box to get them out. Anyway, I installed them in the spring, but when I opened the boxes and removed the skylights, 3 out of the 4 were bent at the exact place on the gray frame...definitely done, as anyone can see, by a forklift or something like that as they were stacked in a warehouse somewhere. The force of the hit on the frames was so hard that the glass shows ripples at the right angle. Talked to about 4 employees, each higher on the pay grade, and no one wants to accept any accountability and do anything about it.....Like a homeowner is going to own a forklift and bump them in a sunroom. I cannot get over how blatant their lack of concern is over this. I had already in past years installed 4 velux skylight on other parts of my house. I bought velux expecting as I always do the reputable name brands will back their products. They only say it is too late to make a claim to their carrier, but who says the carrier did it. This could have easily been done in their warehouse. Velux lost me and I hope others as customers because they simply do not care. I'm amazed and I will never forget this....nor should anyone else. "
