"The had a Firefly guitar for $70, usually the are around $150-$200. It is sold as new and unopened. I live in DC so I am in a major city, shipping should not be a problem. I even fix guitars, so at this price as long as I get them item I can repair it if needed. They charged me the correct price, paid via PayPal. Aug 8, 2021 was order date. "Avoid at all costs. Company posted a bait and switch 2080 for nearly 50% off. Posting showed as available until AFTER ordering. After 30 days of replying with generic email templates, they cancelled the order.
Vuugo has collected all of my personal information, and is now ignoring my emails.
I spoke with the owner of the company (Alex Wan) and was told there was no way to process the order, and that I would have to make another order (which adds another $700 or so to the order total).
Completely unacceptable behavior for any company. Highly recommend every other company out there, even if Vuugo is cheaper."
"First they don't send you the electronic invoice till you asked. When we received the shipment, there is only a window of 3 days for us to mail out the rebate request before the deadline. They deliberately put the wrong postal code of the rebate PO box on the form and the request was returned with Wrong postal code. This is a malpractice as we never got the rebate!

"The customer service after sale is terrible. I bought a computer component, and it was dead on arrival. Their policy doesn't allow for refund if the item is defective. How terrible is that? Even worse, they expect you to pay the cost of shipping back to them for an item that has never worked, and then they expect you to wait while they send the item back to the manufacturer for a replacement.
No where in retail have I ever seen a store decline a refund for a product that was dead on arrival. This is ridiculous. Stay clear of this cheap near scam artist that is Vuugo!

"I've dealt with some bad companies, but this company is by far the worst. Where should I begin?
Firstly, my invoice total was $250, and yet they charged my credit card $430 (not even just pending, that's the actual charge that was taken from my credit card). Those are rounded numbers by the way, but still they charged my nearly double what they were supposed to. I emailed them asking for a refund, and I'm not even getting a reply back.
I checked out their Terms and Conditions (After I ordered unfortunately) and they say by placing an order, you agree to waive your rights to sue them or take them to court for any reason. I'm pretty sure I'll still be able to get my money back after them illegally charging me money though (Though it seems they thought they could legally steal).
Also, their rebates program is a joke, where they want you to mail in the rebate in after a certain amount of time after buying the items, not receiving them... Their shipping is so slow that by the time you receive the product it's too late to even apply for the rebate. So don't even pay attention to the rebates.
In conclusion, I will never be placing an order with this company again, and I suggest nobody else does either. They were listed as reputable on the website pcpartspicker, but after doing a google search I found pretty much everyone with the same or similar problems as me.
TL;DR - This is one of the worst companies to deal with, verging on being a scammer. "
"I ordered a GPU from them, but even though the transaction went through they emailed later saying that they don't mail to PO boxes, so I gave an alternate address of a friend but then they emailed back saying they reserve the right to not ship to anything but the billing address? Huh I don't have a mailbox where I currently am and they won't mail to my PO box so I was forced to cancel the order, but because for some reason even though they knew they couldn't mail to me put the transaction as pending so I had to wait and make a bunch of phone calls to get the credit limit back on my CC. "So, the story sounds normal at first. The happy boxing day shopper decides they want to spend their Christmas bonus/cash to upgrade their computer. You find a nice Canadian retailer via pc part picker and order your processor. Sure they were closed on the 27th, 28th but they were open on the 29th and the 30th, but the order was processed on the 27th a miracle I exclaim thinking my order would be handled fast and courteously. Than the 3rd comes and 4th comes along, no response to my emails or my call asking for an update as to when I can expect my order shipped... I finally get someone on the 5th, when I voice my displeasure that no ones returned my messages Im simply told in a annoyed tone "Well you have someone now".. My order has "shipped" and just waiting on them to scan it in.. So on the 6th I see its been supposedly picked up by a carrier for 3-5 business day delivery. To my dismay I see it's being sent through CanPar, notably one of Canada's worst Courier's, but its to be delivered by the 11th. I can some what work with that, whats 3 weeks when a competitor could of had it to me in days. The 11th comes, no package so I call CanPar and what am I told? They won't be able to tell me when it will be delivered, but its still in Toronto and if I had of wanted it to be delivered within the 3-5 business day commitment I should of instead used.... Purolator. So I call Vuugo customer service, leave them a nice message stressing the urgency they return my call, and again shockingly as it is (not) they did not return my call.
All I can say is, stay away from this shady company at all costs. They are a joke, offer no customer service and use 5th rate delivery services"
"Thought I would give them a try since prices were slightly lower. Shipping cost at checkout was $13. Later they contacted me and said it would be $59 because I was not in a major city. This caused me to miss special pricing at other sites, having chosen this one based on quoted shipping, and wasted time on a time sensitive purchase. Note that same product from NCIX shipping cost $12.
Moral--only use this site if you live in a major city, and stick to sites that you know."
