BUNCH OF NASTY MAMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

"INVASIVE, COMPLEX, FRUSTRATING! AVOID-AVOID-AVOID! Just too steamed up right now, to compose exactly how ROTTEN their phone situation is! They need to reduce the pay of their six figure salaried executives and HIRE MORE PHONE REPRESENTATIVES!!!!! Additionally, their security questions ARE DISGUSTINGLY INVASIVE AND HIGHLY-HIGHLY-HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE!!!!"

"My brother paid $95.00 for an instant payment to me of $950.00. When I received my tracking number I went to a nearby Western Union agent to get my money. They said they did not have enough money to pay me. So I went to another agent and again they did not have enough money to pay me. I went to 5 diferrent agents with the same results. So I searched on my phone to find a larger agent to fund my money. I went to Rite Aid but they only will fund up to $500.00, same with Walgreens. I went to 2 different Ralph's but there Western Union machines were not working. Finally I called another Ralph's and they said they could fund my money, so I went over immediately. I filled out the paperwork and then the lady handed me 2 Money Orders instead of CASH. I questioned why they were giving me Money orders and the lady explained anything over the amount of $500.00 Western Union pays money orders. She assured me that the money orders were the SAME as cash and that ALL banks would cash them. When I went to my bank to cash the Money orders my bank tried to call to verify funds and they WERE NOT AVAILABLE!!!!! My bank, CHASE, tried again the next day (today) and again the funds were not available for my Bank to cash the Money Orders Western Union issued. So I still do not have my money from Western Union. I try to call Western Union customer service and they will not talk to me, they say they will only talk to the Sender. So no resolve!! What a complete nightmare! I needed this money yesterday and I have no idea when I will get it. A COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!!!!!!"

"Their WesternUnion.com site does not work on Internet Explorer 11 under 64 bit Windows 8.1. Western Union's reply? Get Google Chrome...

Even if you do drag out an old XP/IE6 machine the site is like amateur night in grade school.

There is no plain text option to check that you keyed a password correctly,

Should you make an error the page is simply redrawn -- sometimes without the data you labored to put in. There seem to be no error messages to guide you to fixing problems.

There error messages from space, like the last step when you confirm your email address with the emailed pin number, where you are asked to "enter your temporary password." Alas no password, temporary or otherwise, has been issued and there is no blank to enter the "temporary password" in should you somehow discover one.

Phone support from the US is frightening uneven. One agent says you can send money to a business bank account and other says you may only send money to a personal bank account.

The web site says you can use a credit card phone support says cash or debit only.

Phone support says you have to sign into your Western Union account to send money but WesternUnion.com's main page starts off asking "how much do you want to send?" not "please sign into or create an account."

"Worst Company to deal with, after sending everything they requested including copy of my drive license they still canceled the transaction, and now i dont have access to the money, why have a wesbsite if it doesnt work, they coulnt verified my identity, what more do they want, all they offer is 50% oFF next transaction, well hello you canceled the first one, I am not coming back its insane to pay over $10 to send $100 and still go to the hassle of scanning bills and driver licenses if after you do that they still cant verify you as a person."

"Pathetic! I have been a happy customer for many years. Customer service WAS excellent.

No more. I have spent at least 6 hours on the phone. My account has been closed and reopened and re-verified. Yet I cannot log onto my account anymore getting a W0500 error that I have logged too many attempts (1 is too many?)

I've given up. Western Union was once great. Now dealing with them is a waste of time.

Also they have doubled their rates in the past year or so.
