"X8 Drums was there when I needed them. San Marcos, TX use to have another music store however they closed down about a year ago. Even though X8 specializes in e-commerce with a large warehouse, they make it easy for locals to stop by and get gear. I think they are the only game in town which is hard to believe as Texas State ,in which I'm a current student, is located right there. Anyway, I needed some drumsticks and some heads for a gig and they had them in stock and ready to go. Thanks Cameron for helping me out!!

"Ordered a large djembe drum on november 15th.. received a small. When I inquired about it, I was told the manufacturer was 'out of stock' on the large one that I had paid for. Okay. So you send me the small one and hope I wouldnt notice I didnt get what I paid for? Then I was told that it would ship on the 14th of december. 5 days go by, I email AGAIN and am told that the manufacturer will NOT ship directly to me, and that it would not get to me until way after christmas, MAYBE the first week of january. At this point I am fed up and contact the manufacturer directly. The person I got a hold of told me that they were told by the x8 rep that I was 'okay with waiting'. Absolutely not. I was never even asked. It turns out it was a mistake on the behalf of X8, and it looks like they continually tried to cover it up and lie to me. I was supposed to get the drum today, still nothing. I will never order another thing from X8, or from Remo. "
"I needed help and went to the Chat feature. Mark assisted me with getting the correct price and making sure the shipping address was correct. He was very polite, professional, knew exactly how to make the system register the right price, validated the shipping address and hung in with me until the transaction was complete. Some sites don't have a good chat/help service. This one was great and Mark did an awesome job! I actually asked him for a review site so I could let people know! I'd definitely buy through X8 again."
"Ordered a set that I thought was full size because it said "starter." Shipping took forever, I thought my order got totally lost. After contacting X8 twice I was able to see that the shipment was finally on its way. When the set arrived, I was disappointed to find that the set was a "junior" set. I clearly differentiated in the title between the two sets on their website, and I thought I was receiving a normal-sized set. Customer support was a pain to work with, not accommodating.
If you order from X8 know that should you decide to return your order you will have to pay the original shipping, return shipping, and 10% of the product price for a restocking fee.
I will be keeping my purchase, just because I don't want to lose a good bit of what I paid for the product. However, I will certainly not be shopping with x8 drums again."
