"To all you guys out there - x8 drums is advertizing african Djembes, while 90% of their Djembes in the African section of their web site are lower grade Djembes from Bali indonesia.
If you cannot recognize a real African Djembe from a lower grade indonesian Djembe, don't buy from them.

I bought a Djembe from X8 drums last year, knowing nothing about Djembe drums. When I made it to the Djembe group lesson, My teacher told me that I would probably not be able to learn on this instruments because it's not a real Djembe.
My teacher is from Mali and started playing Djembe when he was 5 and that's all he's done all his life - He is now 49....
