" My iPhone4 broke. As many know, iPhones have to be charged many times in a day which is why I have 12 charger cords located in every vehicle, office, room, garage, barn....everywhere. I took the charger cord out last Wednesday morning and a piece of black plastic came out with it. I tried to get the charger back in to no avail. I called Apple and they quoted "around a hundred and twenty dollars" plus shipping and insurance. They said they could have it back to me in "probably" a couple weeks. I searched the Internet and found repair costs ranging from $130.00 to $69.00, which in many cases did not include return shipping, insurance, guarantees, etc. Additionally, most wanted at least two weeks to repair my phone. Then I found www.xfixer.com out in California. They repair most all iPhones and their prices are clearly marked on their website. Just to be sure I called and spoke with either the owner or manager. Bottom line; I paid them $40.00 minus their 15% online discount; over-nighted it insured to California and received it back today via pre-paid USPS Priority mail and it included a new charging cord and a new rubber case and it works like it's brand new!! The only problem was even though XFixer sent it back USPS Priority Mail, the USPS screwed it up and the delivery was two days late. The tracking report clearly showed that it was no fault of XFixer. I even called the company and inquired and they went so far as to physically go to their post office to inquire; emailed me a USPS report (only available at the post office) and immediately advised me of their findings. Recently I had attempted to have a pair of sunglasses repaired through another online site (OpticsFast and the notorious Becky S which is run out of a UPS drop box in Brooklyn, NY) and based on the ordeal (which is still continuing today) I went through with that company, I had just about given up on online stores. Finally a WINNER called XFixer. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM!!"
