"I ordered wooden valances since I work nights & wanted to block all light coming in from over the curtains and shades. The valances were cheap & flimsy, they came with over-engineered hardware (a few thumb tacks would have worked) that raised the valances so high they don't cover the top of the room darkening shades. Not pleased! They were way too expensive!"

"I purchased Vertical Blinds for sliding door and they do not overlap enough. They get stuck at the top and I have to manually straighten out the overlap. The window vertical blinds that I purchased do not have the overlapping issue. They work fine."
