Teir 1 & Discount Filter Store are horrible.
"I had purchased products from Discount Filter Store for several years. Their customer service rep recommended that I change to a Tier 1 filter so I did. I still don't know why, but the filter proceeded to fill my entire home with sand... caused a lot of cost and wasted time buying and replacing and cleaning filters throughout my home. The Tier 1 filter didn't seem to filter anything - the sump of my Big Blue filter container usually had a lot of sand in it, but with the Tier 1 filter, it was practically clean. I asked for help from Discount Filter Store and their "expert" gave me an assinine story about how I overfilled the filter causing it to burst. This person obviously doesn't know anything about filters. So: Don't order from Discount Filter Store - their advice is very poor, and don't order Tier 1 filters because their performance is very poor, and finally don't ask DFS for advice if you have a problem...their technical service people are worse than nothing. : ("

Misleading promo
"After visiting the website and looking for a specific filter for a specific refrigerator, I received a coupon for a 50% off promo. I fell for it and bought the filters. Guess what, “unfortunately” the promo was not applicable for my fridge. Why would they send a 50% coupon that is not applicable, if they have all info about the filters I need, and about the fridge we have? You can probably answer that yourself..."

Tier 1 poor quality
"Looked for a good price on decent quality air filter for my heat pump.
Bought tier 1 pleated air filters and looking at them the paper filter edges are not glued to cardboard frame. I can put my fingers between filter paper and cardboard frame. Useless junk they are selling, and they are very slow to deliver because they are imported."

terrible customer service, over a month ship time
"I ordered a smart water wrench on Dec 29, and by Jan 28 it still had not arrived. On the website, it said it should have shipped in 3 to 5 business days. I called customer service, and the rep kept saying I had not read all the fine print, and the wrench was not to ship out for several weeks. I tried explaining to her that no where on the site gave this information, but she kept on interrupting me and arguing, insisting that "some people" don't understand the wording in the item description when they place an order. So, all in all, terrible customer service, plus I'm waiting on an item that I have already paid for."

Perfect Fit in My LG Fridge, and Made in Indiana - not China - at a fraction of the cost of an LG filter!
"Finally - a fair price for a filter which perfectly fits my LG fridge. The filters from LG are a total ripoff, at $35 or more. I have considerable knowledge about manufacturing in China, which is where LG manufactures their filters - and the manufacturing cost is less than a dollar. I purchased a filter made in Indiana for $8.10. Will be a repeat customer from this American manufacturing company!!!"

Misleading Descriptions
"I ordered two Washable reusable filters, cost around $40 a piece. Read the description and sounded like it would be a good deal. I used them for a year and kept noticing the furniture was getting dusty very quickly. I finally gave up and bought cheap throw away filters and I have noticed a great difference in the dust in just 3 days of use. I contacted Discount Filters and did that chat with first associate who ended up leaving the chat after they found out i was displeased. Tried again and was told that the reusable filters are really only good to protect your HVAC unit from harm. Told them they should reword their description of the product because it was misleading and was told they would pass on that information."

Fake shipping message on the website
"Shows "Ships today if you order in the next **** hours **** minutes", but it won't be shipped that day if you place the order. Basically it's a fake message try to convince you to place the order. When you contact the customer service, they will be like "ok, sorry for the delay", but won't do anything."
