Very Disappointed
"I ordered an Ebb Tide Rose in June 2020, never received anything until April 2021. It was a different rose with mold on it and died. Never received a refund. Never order from them!"

Sent wrong colored daylilies..TWICE
"I ordered blueberry sundae daylilies from this business years ago. They arrived planted them in the fall and come summer, after planting, e.t.c... they were ALL THE WRONG COLOR!! I was so mad. Called them and was told they'd send some replacement that was close. This year I redid that whole bed and wanted the frosted elegance daylily. (Completely white, with dark purple and lime green centers). I thought they wouldn't make the same mistake years later...so I ordered them. After planting in my bed and stoning all around.. they are starting to bloom now and they are ORANGE!!! I'M SO MAD. Not only did I not get the color scheme I wanted, I put all the effort in to plant, nurture and pay for something that is NOT THE RIGHT PLANT! I kept the the packaging and it says frosted elegance on them. I don't think they even separate these plants.. they must throw daylily bulbs in a big bin. I didn't realize this company was so horrible, until I just read these reviews. What a waste of time and money. Never again."

Do not order from this supplier.
"Ordered 3 bare root roses. They arrived fairly dry. 2 1/2 months later two have never sprouted leaves and the third has a few. I have tried using the email contact address 3x and they have never responded. I called today and was told they would give me a voucher for two but would not credit my card as its been longer than two weeks. I mentioned my emailing their contact address 3x although was outside the two weeks and was told I could only receive a voucher. Being roses I thought and was hopeful they would revive. So my option is only the voucher meaning I will have to buy from them again and likely pay shipping although maybe they will give credit for that as well. Suggest buying locally or from HD not this company."

Overall just plain bad quality
"I ordered two roses from them a year ago and they failed almost immediately. So I took them up on their refund/replacement policy and sent pictures of the failed roses. I was told I would have to wait a year and then they would ship replacements. A year passed and I had to contact them to remind them of the replacement. Received replacement roses which looked rather thin and sad. I did all I could to make sure they succeeded and they immediately failed. Mind you I have about 70 roses planted in former river bed soil and we are very good at fertilizing and feeding the roses appropriately. Almost everything I plant thrives. I gave them a second try thinking it was just a bad year but it turns out that their quality is sub-par at best."

Could not possibly be worse
"Ordered three different dahlias. Two were clusters of TINY tubers, all dried out and useless. The third was one large tuber, soft and rotten throughout. What garbage. Never seen anything like it."

Rotten bulbs, incorrectly counted, so not worth the money.
"I ordered a bag of 25 bulbs. There were 19 in the bag and 7 were rotten and mushy. Of the 6 hibiscus bushes I ordered, three were healthy, the other three were one tiny stem, about 6 inches tall. They each had 3 to 6 leaves total on them and the ones with 6 leaves had 2 or 3 leaves that were turned yellow and dropped off when I planted them. How are they still in business? Oh! Also, they promise free gifts if you spend certain amounts. I did not receive the one free gift that I really cared about and I spent over 200 dollars. So...BUYER BEWARE!"

Too much trouble
"I called on April 21 2021 to order some flowers. The kid who answered after I told him I wanted to make sure that products were in stock and were plants rather than bulbs, responded that virtually everything was in stock. I've heard that before and although he wanted my contact information and credit card number told me that it was too much trouble to answer my questions. Never again!"

Dead flowers
"3/12/21 I noticed 2 transactions fron Dutch Gardens that I DIDN'T PLACE. I called only to be told I had to email. Response time was awful and they would respond "in review." Had to get my bank involved. It's been 3 weeks. If I could give them no stars I would."

"Patric answered the phone and was rude from the beginning. This seems like a scam company. I ordered 3 days ago and did not even get a order confirmation. I tried to call for 2 days and only got a busy signal. I have cancelled my order and will never buy from them again."

Avoid this company
"Buy local! Don’t waste your money with this company. I ordered $187 worth of plants and bulbs on 9/5/2020. Everything in the order was designated on their website as ‘fall delivery’. On 10/22/2020 I contacted them via their website requesting a refund. By that time we had experienced several hard freezes, temperatures were regularly below freezing at night, and planting the live plants and bulbs was no longer possible. Other than their standard automated responses I heard nothing so contacted them again via their website on 10/30/2020 restating my request for a refund. On 11/2/2020 I received an email from them requesting all previous correspondence regarding the issue. Up to that email, my only correspondence from them had been their automated replies, but I put my two requests and their automated responses together in chronological order and sent it back to them via email. After more automated responses, on 11/6/2020 I receive a shipping notification for my order. Note that I did NOT request the order be shipped, I requested a refund. I contact them again pointing out that I can’t plant either the live plants or the bulbs when they arrive since the ground is frozen. Even if I could dig a hole, the temperatures are below freezing at night so the live plants would die. I’m told, via email, that the live plants and bulbs can be “stored in a cool, dry, and dark place or planted in pots and kept inside until more optimal planting”. These are plants and bulbs that should be planted in the fall. They are expecting me to store them or keep them in pots for almost a year? That’s ridiculous! Now on 12/3/2020 the live plants (half the cost of the order) are dead. The bulbs have been stored in a ‘cool, dry, dark place’ but I seriously doubt they will be viable when I’m finally able to plant them next fall. I would have been far better off spending my money locally and getting quality plants, bulbs AND good customer service. I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering from this company. I hope someone else can learn from my mistake and avoid doing business with this company."

Do Not Do Business With This Company
"I placed an order in June for a butterfly bush. I never received a confirmation email to acknowledge my purchase nor did a charge appear on my card. A few days later I took a look at their website and the bush is no longer on there so I figured that was my my card was never charged and I didn’t receive any purchase confirmation. Earlier this month I see a charge on my card for the bush- several weeks after I initially tried to make the purchase. Again, zero email notification that they would be doing this or that the bush was available again. I contacted the business and said I was no longer interested in this order- since I purchased the bush elsewhere. It has been since July 9th and the refuse to refund me my money and they never shipped me the tree. Today they told me neither my order or my refund has been processed. I look on their website and the bush is still unavailable. So basically they held onto my credit card information and just decided to charge my card, without approval, for a product they do not have nor one that I want. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and my credit card company. Do not trust this company with your credit card information."

The company is a joke!
"If I could give no stars I would, overall terrible customer service and your likely time get ripped off. I placed an order with three items, it stated my order would be shipped in 2-3 weeks. I was being extra understanding when that time came and went with Covid, but it would have been nice if they would have emailed me to tell me they were running behind. After seven weeks without an email to be found they finally shipped my order. That took a week to receive, with a $12.99 shipping fee I would have expected faster shipping. Upon receiving my order there were two plants and one of them wasn't one I ordered. There was a note on the item I didn't order saying they didn't want me to be disappointed, but they ran out of what I ordered and substituted it for another item. Basically they didn't want to refund my money. After emailing them back and forth several times, they have yet to address my missing item and I told them I didn't want what they sent me. They stated that they can substitute the item if they sell out because I didn't tell them not to substitute, there is nowhere in the online ordering for me to op out of a substitute. In order for me to receive a refund I have to send back the item I never ordered at my cost with a written letter explaining why I'm returning the item. I seriously doubt that if I sent it back I would ever see my money, I'm sure they would come up with some loop hole to get out of refunding my money. Don't waste your time and money. STAY AWAY!"
