BEWARE AND AVOID.
"I wanted to start ordering some HMC meat, as I have found random people just selling normal meat with 'halal', when it is not halal. I found a website called efoodsdirect where some company called "Aaron's Fresh" is selling HMC Certified meat on their website. I checked the HMC website but could not find Aaron's Fresh. I then telephoned the company Al-Amin Foodstores, which packaged this Aaron's Fresh HMC certified meat. I spoke to some chap on the phone. This is what he confirmed. 1. Al-Amin and Aaron Fresh are not HMC Certified. 2. They buy the meat from a supplier, who buys the meat from another supplier, who buys the meat from another supplier, who is HMC certified. 3. They could not confirm who the end supplier was until the next delivery. I get a feeling they do get quite a few people call them, as I have never telephoned this company before and the chap on the phone was adamant that he had explained everything to me before. If they certify their meat as HMC certified but cannot confirm how, then it does cast doubt on whether their meat is halal at all. CALL THEM BEFORE YOU ORDER. They might eventually get their story in order, as it does seem they do get quite a few similar calls."

"Ok food for emergency, nonexistent customer service.
I've ordered 2-weeks responder from efoodsdirect, 2 pouches were missing when it arrived. I've sent email and contacted customer service using their website form. No one bothered to answer me. While few dishes I tried tasted not bad for this kind of food, I definitely not going to do more business with the company. If they don't care about customers on small case they probably will not care at all. And by the way, they did not publish this review on their website... So, I've found better place for it right here!"
