New hardwood looks wonderful
"I'm not gonna lie. I was a little hesitant about ordering something so large and pricey online. After talking with Floor Mania I was a little more confident about ordering our hardwood with them.
After our order was placed, we received our order tracking within about a hour. It showed our estimated delivery date. We used the warehouse pick up option for delivery (free!). Our order arrived at the local warehouse in about 5 days (Houston area). We were informed the order was ready to be picked up at our earliest convenience. After a couple days we made the trip over to the warehouse. The folks there were very pleasant and helped us load up the wood on the trailer and we were off.
Once we got the wood home and checked everything out we were ready for the installation. The hardwood was absolutely gorgeous. Our installer made it out that weekend and had the floor installed in a couple days. He had commented on how well the materials went together with no bowing boards, etc. Our floors are beautiful and we saved a lot of money ordering from this company. I would certainly recommend to anyone who is looking to buy flooring for their home.
On a side note. I'm not entirely sure who the previous reviewer was referring to? The store I ordered from floormania.com doesn't have a showroom you walk into and doesn't do installation (that's on you)."

Extremely disappointing
"Would definitively not recommend Floormania. Customer service and advice/information on floor types in the showroom was very poor. We are extremely disappointed with the floor installed (it has an unexpectedly high number of knots and imperfections). Fortunately the supplier helped with replacing some board but Floormania declined any responsibility."

Much Appreciated service and fast delivery!
"Wife and I did a bathroom remodel and found the Shaw tile we wanted at a local store but the price was out of site. Called the toll-free number and was a bit skeptical about what to expect but we are EXTREMELY satisfied with the service from our sales representative. We had the numbers and he fulfilled the order perfectly. We received an email within the 30 minute time-frame he mentioned with complete details and the shipment went out that day from Shaw's warehouse. I made the drive to the St. Louis pick up location and so shipping was FREE and fast (3 days). The process of receiving the tile at the warehouse was simple and efficient. Then found out we needed an extra 10 pieces of Bullnose due to a design modification by wife and received it in time (3 days) for the contractor to finish the tiling.
Overall, we are very happy with the service and the price (saved over $700) on same tile from the local store. We buy local when we can and still spent $1000 at the local store on materials to do the job but tile was not one of the items due to price. Hands down, we will use Floormania again for our tile purchases. Fast, great service and excellent price!!!"
