"Absolutely horrible company! Paid for 2 day delivery and actually received my order 6 days later. When I called to ask why I didn't receive my order in 2 days, they were EXTREMELY rude. I will absolutely never order anything from this company again. Unreliable AND rude?! Unbelievable!"

"I have never had such a snotty response to a simple e-mail advising that there packing was not sufficient to protect bulbs that were shipped (no bubble pack, not marked fragile, etc.) with a couple of them broken. This was his response: "Did you want replacements, a refund, OR TO TELL US HOW TO DO WHAT WE'VE BEEN DOING FOR 25 YEARS?" When I responded to just forget it because I didn't want to do business with them, he then sent another e-mail that just said "Texas", i.e. I guess that was supposed to be an insult because I live in Texas (instead of the wonderful metropolis of Lenexa, Kansas!)I don't want any action from these people because as I said, I don't want to deal with such a jerk for a couple of light bulbs. I just want others to know how rude their customer service rep. is before they do business with them."

"I just bought a Casablanca fan from LBE. Props to Ryan for sticking to his word and everything arrived in a timely manner. He honored an Amazon price even though it was much cheaper than the competitors. He did everything he said he would and that is rare these days. On this alone, I give them my highest recommendation."

"Ordered two small fluorescent tubes from these guys. The tubes where not carried by any local stores, and the price from light bulbs etc. was one of the best I could find.
They arrived promptly, but broken. I called their customer service, and spoke to Tim. He immediately shipped me two new tubes which again arrived promptly and intact this time. I will shop here again."

"I've ordered three times from this company with good results. They carry the very excellent line of TCP spiral compact fluorescent light bulbs--with wattages as low as 2 watts (an excellent chouce for a close reading lamp or computer keyboard lamp when used in a student-type fixture) One of my orders came with two bulbs that were faulty--and they replaced them pronto with free shipping."

"Lightbulbsdirect.com, less expensive than lightbulbdirect.com, generally provided good service. After ordering and then seeing jsntd's comments above, I called them on the 27th to check status. Aaron said the fluorescent tubes were being packed, but he'd check status and found more than enough in stock. I called again the 28th and Clint said they would ship that day. Later that day, I received a tracking number via email as promised and the tubes were delivered 4 days later well packed."

"I placed an order on 1/4/06. Checked my credit card statement online 2 days later and saw the order was charged to my credit card. Called them on 1/11/06 and the guy told me the item wasn't in stock therefore item wasn't shipped. He said let him go check in the warehouse. Came back and told me that the item was actually in stock, and he would ship right away. Called them on 1/12/06, and again they told me the same thing, plus order wasn't processed therefore item wasn't shipped. He'll process it right now and ship it right away. It seems like there are only two people working for this company."
