Terrible reseller, avoid at all costs
"I have been willing and ready to return, donate, or destroy the non-performing chair in exchange for a refund, but despite Madison Seating requesting those outcomes for the chair at various points, at no point did they actually commit to refunding me. Madison Seating will lie to you, lie about you, threaten you, and cajole you into leaving fake positive reviews, when all they need to do is actually support their product if they want a good reputation. If they don't believe in their product's quality, why should you?"

Top notch customer service
"My purchase arrived with some minor manufacturing defects. While initially disappointed, I was incredibly impressed with how Madison Seating handled the situation. Their customer service was top-notch. I contacted them, explained the issue, and they immediately took responsibility and began working to get me a replacement chair. They were responsive, courteous, and efficient. While I haven't received the replacement yet, I'm confident that Madison Seating will follow through and resolve this completely. I appreciate their prompt resolution."

Save yourself the frustration—avoid this seller at all costs!
"They advertise their products as 'new open box,' but what you actually receive are clearly defective, poorly repaired items with a strong paint odor. My chair arrived missing essential screws, keeps sinking—likely due to a faulty cylinder—and makes an unbearably loud creaking noise. To make matters worse, their customer service is completely unresponsive and unhelpful. Save yourself the frustration—avoid this seller at all costs!"

Excellent Customer Service
"The chair I purchased is my all-time favorite chair and I was looking forward to receiving it. When the chair arrived, the box was damaged on all the sides and the casters were sticking out of the box. I emailed Madison Seating and they replied immediately. I had trouble assembling the chair and there weren't any instructions included, so I again emailed customer service, and again they replied immediately. This level of email customer service response is impressive."

"I ordered and received the leap V2 from Madison seating. The box was damaged in transit which scraped the bottom seat of the chair. I informed Madison seating, sent in pictures, and they are shipping me out a new chair. Thank you!"

Good Chair, Crooked Company
"I bought a amia chair from them for my birthday at the end of may 2024. These chairs come with a 10 year warranty. When I recieved the chair i immediately start to feel a pain but i figured i was sitting in the chair wrong. So I let alot of time pass by trying to adjust the settings and add cushion to the seat. We're now 3 months later in august, which is too late for them to even assist me and finding out whats wrong with the cushion they sent. I tried to reach out to customer service and they said they're sorry theres nothing they can do because its past the 30 days."

Buyer Beware of this Gray Market Seller
"Buyer Beware! Bought a "new" Steelcase chair that broke immediately and had to fight with customer service for over a month. 1st, they offered to refund 50% and I could keep the broken chair. 2nd, they would send a replacement, but only after I sent them proof of a good review on Trustpilot.com. If you see a good review for this company, it’s likely because they blackmailed the reviewer and would not replace a faulty product without it. 3rd, they would only issue me a refund if I mailed back the broken chair (had to spend $50 to get a box big enough). Terrible!"

Its return policy is a scam so never buy any product from this website
"i bought a HM chair from this and wasnt satisfied with the chair . Now when i tried to return they said you need to use your own shipping . Now when i use the same box the shipping is close to the cost of the chair . This is because of weight and the box size . used the same box as it came in from Madison Seating. Now the result is that i have to keep it because there is no point to return. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SITE"

Terrific customer service from Madison Seating!
"Had a fantastic experience with MadisonSeating.com with my recent order of a HumanScale chair. With them, I'd found by far the best price I could find for the Freedom chair, and it arrived promptly after I ordered it... The only small issue upon arrival was that the chair's central cylinder post wasn't holding its position, so I contacted Madison and they promptly sent me a new cylinder to install. When I had a little bit of difficulty installing the replacement cylinder, I contacted them again -- and this time they offered to simply send me a new chair, free of charge, rather than have me continue to attempt to install the replacement cylinder! Madison's prompt communication, with actionable solutions at each step of the way, is deeply appreciated. Thank you very much! I recommend them very highly for great prices and even better customer service."

Excellent Product, Shipping and Service
"Hi! First of all, I was a little skeptical on purchasing the chair site unseen (Steelcase Leap 2). Fortunately the chair was PERFECT! This is my experience: Placed order and received the chair in about 2 weeks. Actually received it a day earlier than thought. Came in a SUPER sturdy box, which my daughter is now using as a fort, ha ha. It came in three parts, the back and seat, the coasters and stand, and the gas cylinder. All were bubble wrapped and well taken care of. Assembly was a breeze. I had my daughter help me line up the arrows on the cylinder and chair, but that was it. Took me about 5 mins to make all the setting on the chair. This is a refurbish chair, but looks absolutely brand new (no scratches, no apparent rework). ABSOLUTELY HAPPY ABOUT THE CHAIR AND WILL PURCHASE FROM MADISON SEATING AGAIN!"
