A little weary
"I often find myself getting suckered when it comes to these websites and after reading the reviews I thought here I'm going to have to go through the process of getting a new card and all that. Actually quite the opposite (TG) it was only my 1st time ordering but not only was it early but it was what I ordered."

"If this is reptile supply co. I gotta saty if I went off our 1st shipment I would agree with all these comments. We ordered a variety but mostly hornworms & silkworms. Which most of them were dead mashed into their food on arrival we spent over a hundred dollars for dead bugs we had to throw away. So I decided to call them. Knowing that the distance from Michigan to Washington was ridiculous but we had paid extra for shipping. Anyways I explained this to a customer service representative & she was very accommodating. She replaced every single bug & added complimentary silkworms & hornworms to our order, plus they covered the fast delivery since it was guarantee with that shipping to have live bugs. It looked more like a shipping & handling issue anyways the way everything was tossed around & damaged. But a few days later we had a ton of healthy hornworms & silkworms and our beardies were supper grateful. I would go through this company again if they were closer, but its not fair for me to expect live bugs coming that far across the country."

Gave them a chance
"This company is legit, but the way they do things is dirty. If you order something that is a specific brand, they will ship a similar item of a direct brand, but they'll remove the tag thinking that it won't be noticed. You're better off NOT ordering online. I'll never order from this company again."

Terrible DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!!!
"I ordered a Reptile Incubator from this site. After it was still in process over a week later I started to reach out as I needed it for my son's bday at the end of the month. After multiple emails, and phone calls I was never contacted back. I am disputing the charge through my bank as they of course charged my card immediately. Not sure if this is even a valid company or just a site designed to try to take your money. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE!!"

Scam
"They are not s legit company, their address is a recycling company. They only ship what they can get at that time to resale. They are more expensive than all of my wholesale distributors unless you buy bulk. Have confronted them on both of my orders with very little contact. They are a complete scam and only try to resale what they can get their hands on at the time. I will be going to the authorities and doing a full on investigation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!"

Stupid people
"Do not buy from these people. The most simple message can not be answered. The only answer you get is the generic one they teach these people to send. So to get anything resolved is a big NO! Also they package the product very poorly I received my 1000 Dubia Roaches in a container that was not sealed properly put on it side so the lid came off in transit and all the roaches was loose in the shipping box, inside and out. I doubt I received the whole 1000 roaches, when I addressed this they were only worried about the whole order being there, not that the roaches had gotten out. I never did get them to understand the issue was a 1000 loose roaches in a flat rate shipping box. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! You will be very sorry!"

Bad company
"If I could rate them a Zero, I would. They don't reach out to their customer base. They don't email order confirmations. Their notion of "reaching out" is to send a link to their ratings page. UPS refused to deliver my order because it was damaged and that they would let Reptile Supply know. I CONTACTED Reptile Supply, more than once, regarding either re-sending a replacement order or refunding my $$$. What did I get? The link to their ratings page! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE! They take your $$ and give no Satisfaction Guaranteed. Spend your hard earned $$ elsewhere."

Defective item-no refund or communication
"I ordered twice at Reptile Supply Company. On the first order I had to call after two weeks to ask why they hadn’t shipped my items . They said it was because one item was backordered( even though they showed they had it on their website). I asked if they could ship the 4 other items then. They said they would have to charge me extra for shipping. I told them to just cancel the extra items and I would get elsewhere. When the final item, an exoterra door, arrived a month later it was defective as it was slightly to large on one side and pushed on the outer glass significantly in order to shut. I reported the defect and asked what could be done. Silence for a week now...my second order came fine, but it took a few weeks to shop as well...super slow!"

Broken item no refund
"So I ordered a t5 uvb bulb from reptile supply co. It arrived damaged with the box all busted up. I sent them a picture and it wasn’t good enough, they wanted me to risk getting cut and take the bulb out so they could have “proof”. Wasn’t worth the hospital visit so I said forget it. Will never buy from them again."

Terrible company
"They took my money, the next day their site said they were preparing my order, and over a week and a half later they said they were out of stock. They said I would be on a "priority" list when they received stock from the manufacturer. But they didn't know when that would be. Being on a "priority" list for something I already paid for made me wonder if I was guaranteed receiving anything. They take people's money for items they don't have, and make you think they are shipping it the next day. Seems like some sort of scam. I'm still waiting on a refund. Thankfully I used PayPal. The address listed on their website isn't their address. I looked it up on Google maps, and it's a concrete business at that address. Very shady company."

Pathetic customer service/HOT bugs!!
"I ordered a large insect supply from them, they sent this supply when it was about 92°, in a box sealed no ventilation provided whatsoever. Box arrived, the container of black soldier fly larvae I come open and was all over everything creating a big mess, then also quite a bit of the insects were dead due to the combination of the heat plus no ventilation. I expect to lose a few bucks but I wouldn’t of lost half of them are nearly that amount if they would’ve put some holes in the box like all the other companies due to ventilate. That’s common sense! They are on top of that I had ordered four containers of a specific insect that wasn’t even in the box, I sent an email to their customer service letting them know expecting them to either send a refund or send a replacement and they didn’t even bother to respond. Will absolutely never buy from them again!"

Terrible Company!
"Finally received my $150 order after I emailed them 14 days after ordering it and one of the items was broken, I've been emailing them now for the last week trying to get a replacement and they're not really saying much. It was only a $9 item but now when I go to buy the rest of the items I need for my rodent watering system (roughly $500-600 worth of products) I'll be taking my business elsewhere unless they miraculously decide to fix their issue. I highly recommend going somewhere else!"

Crap products, crap service
"I placed my first order with RSC Feb 2019 for 1000 Brass water ****. These **** did not ship until May 2019 and had I not started pestering the staff I am not sure they would have shipped then. No one ever contacted me to let me know they were out of stock or that there was any delay and to make matters worse they have been the crappiest **** we have ever used. Out of the 1000 over 100 **** have failed and leaked causing significant loss. These **** don’t leak right off the bat but 24 to 48 hours after being used. The second order I placed with RSC the company “never got the order” but they took my money! I placed the order in July on their website and near the end of August I notice my order hasn’t shipped nor is the order showing in my history. On contacting the company they said their was an error in their system. I emailed them with no response but when I filed the PayPal dispute they did ship the order. Word of Advise to people, just stick with Reptile Basics, I have never had any issues with them, this is what I get for trying to save a few bucks."

Not Great
"Have tried ordering from this place 2 times and will never do it again. They are extremely slow, have poor communication and will take their sweet time to give a refund back to you if at all. Both of my orders were over $150 and had an item that was not in stock despite being available on their website. They do not communicate this to you but will make you wait several weeks before you have to message them and then they will blow you of with a "Hello, Thank you for your order, we have recently received a large amount of orders and working on processing them as fast as possible. We will notify you with your tracking number as soon as it ships. Thank you, Jasmine" Then you will hear nothing for a week or so more. You will message them again and then be told your item wasn't in stock to begin with. After this it's up to you what you want to do. I chose to ask for a refund and cancel my order. They failed to get back to me for another 2 weeks...I am still waiting on a reply and the refund hasn't been processed. If you do order from them expect significant delays and terrible communication. There are other far better places that take pride in their business and have the same prices."
