Hassles Not Worth It.
"The hassles of dealing with Shoes.com -- from website not doing things properly, such as something basic as customer being able to create an account (website not accepting password no matter how many times attempted with the requisite character types and numbers used, etc.), and such as not applying discounts on items that are advertised to have discounts; to frustrations in dealing with customer service (assuring one thing, and doing another); to excessively long wait-time BEFORE an order is even shipped out; to unilateral cancellation of the major portion of a successfully placed order, etc. -- are NOT WORTH it. Find an outlet that doesn't add needless frustrations to your life."

"I went to shoes.com to buy a pair of $140 Wolverine boots I saw on there in my size. On checking out I saw they had a 35% off for military and public servants through id.me. I verified my military service, but they refused to accept the code. The only coupon they accept was a $5 one they gave me on login."

BEWARE- RE STOCKING FEE $8.50
"BEWARE re-stocking fee $8.50 - If you return shoes be ready to pay $8.50 :( When I bought the vans for my daughter from shoes.com I didn't read the "return policy"... I wonder "who does?" I returned the shoes...few days later I got a partial refund. total price I paid for shoes $56.66 My refund $48.12. I send an e-mail to shoes.com to find out about the difference $8.50. After 2 days, this was the answer: (That 8.50 is for the restocking fee we deduct from all returns. That fee is mentioned on the return policy on our website. If you by chance, place a new order in the next 7 days for another item and send us an email with the new and old order number we can waive that restocking fee for you.) Again, who reads the return policy when you are buying shoes???? It was my first and last time buying shoes from SHOES.COM"

must be out of business
"I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and when I went to return them I found the shoe.com website broken and of course their phones are a complete waste of time since NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR PHONES EVER I established this with the Get-a-Human app plus I call and wait over an hour before giving up. There simply is no way to contact them for a return."

"They sent me the wrong size. Customer service extremely difficult to reach. Have not received full refund from shoes. Nightmare. Will NEVER order from them again. Horrible."

Money deducted but shoes not delivered
"I ordered 2 pairs of Vans shoes in May - and paid 9 USD for 3 day delivery. The shoes were never delivered and the website showed in transit for the whole time. 5 mails to customer service led to automatic replies and replies to the automatic reply were unanswered. I only was able to get my money back via activating PayPal who solved the problem in a day. My experience was shoes.com takes your money - they do not deliver the goods and make it really hard for you to get the money back. An honest store would have returned the money automatically if they could not deliver the goods."

No agents to assist me
"Placed an order for shoes on May 31. It was shipped that day. After receiving them I returned them a few days later. They were uncomfortable. According to UPS tracking it was delivered June 16 to the Woburn, MA address printed on the shipping label they provided. According to their website a refund should take 2-10 days. Today is July 2 and still have not been credited. We are now at 17 days. As I am writing this I have been waiting on the phone for 20 minutes. (It's Friday at 12:16 PM- normal work hours I would suspect.) I have also discovered after reading the fine print I will be charged a restocking fee of $8.50. Interestingly FREE shipping and FREE returns are arguably not free."

"This is the worst online company that I've ever dealt with. I look for shoes in my size, and they're supposedly in stock. I place the order. Several days later, my order is cancelled, with no explanation. I've made numerous attempts to contact them, and I get absolutely no response. Stay away from shoes.com."

Will Never Order from Shoes.com again!
"I tried to cancel my order 2 hrs. after placing it since I was second guessing the size I ordered and noticed AFTER I placed the order that returns cost $7.95. Since no customer service number is even listed on the website, I had to send an email to customer service. Four days later, I got the response that it was too late to cancel the order because it had been shipped! Actually, looking at order status showed it HAD NOT been shipped. The email instructed that once I received the order, I could return it and pay the restocking fee. Got the order and surprise, the sandals don't fit. Went online to cut my losses and pay for the return label and the returns portal is out of order, and based on negative reviews, has been for some time. So, no way to get that return label. SCAM ALERT! I wish I had read reviews BEFORE I bought these shoes. I would have run the other direction! DO NOT BUY FROM SHOES.COM. Returns are seemingly impossible."

Slowest Shipping Ever
"I'm surprised these guys are still in business given the delivery times and customer service expectations Amazon.com has created with shoppers, these guys are a joke. The ship the slowest possible shipping method, FedEx Ground. Took 12 days to get my order. Never buying from them again."

"They say they have free returns and they do not. When you try to return something you find out there is a "restocking" fee. No mention of it anywhere until you have to return. Customer service is the absolute worst."

UNWANTED CLOWN SHOES THAT A CLOWN WOULDN'T EVEN ORDER
"I purchased some cute little pastel rainbow slippers and shoes.com took it upon themselves to flip my order and send me some shoes I didn't order and would never order in my life! What arrived was these tacky G-d awful shoes that were hot pink and fluorescent orange! Obviously no one wanted those so they just did the ol' bait-and-switch and hoped you would just pay them to do it too. AND, should you dare contact customer service, they provide NONE and ask that you pay $8 to ship them back to them and trouble yourself to go to the post office in the middle of a fake pandemic (the worst!) during the holiday season! Unsubscribe from their emails immediately as this is a fraudulent company taking advantage of customers."

Absolutely Horrible Customer Service
"I placed an order for shoes on Shoes.com and immediately following placing the order for the shoes I noticed the shipping address was input incorrectly. I had even tried to update my shipping address when placing the order for the shoes and thought it was updated when I made the order. Immediately following placing the order I started trying to update my shipping address. There is no place found on the website. Next I called customer support and waited on hold for 20 mins (there was no answer). Then I emailed customer support - which I received no response back from customer support. The next day I called again to try to update my shipping address. I got a hold of someone and they told me I had to call back when I received the shipping tracking information until then they could do nothing. I received the email shipping tracking information later that day and called customer support immediately. When I called customer support they told me they would "try" to update shipping information to the correct address. One week went by with no communication from shoes.com and no delivery of shoes. On 12/6 @ 12 pm central time I called customer support to report the issues. The first customer support person informed me that they could do nothing for me because the shoes were shipped to the address I input on the website. They tried to update the shipping address but were not successful. They refused to give me any refund and told me that I would need to go to the incorrect address they were shipped to to get my package. I asked to speak with a manager - Aerial. After speaking with Ariel, he informed me I made the mistake and they shipped to the address that was input at time of purchase. Shoes.com will do nothing to refund my order. Even though immediately after placing the order I did everything I could to try to update the shipping address. The worst customer service I have ever received from any company!@@ Ever! Hands down. I will never order anything from Shoes.com and I will make sure I let all friends, family and everyone I know on the internet about this story."
