"After I purchased an item on their site I found all your reviews saying how bad it was so I got nervous. Called to get shipping info and turned out it was actually on it's way. The package took 3 days as it said it would. Pleased with the product although their invoice doesn't give links to cancel or get a refund. Seems like they improved in the last year. Be wary and call ahead to check if they actually have that product in stock."

"I ordered two items from this company in November 2009. I received the first item and the second was "out of stock" - I waited till February 2010 before they told me they couldn't get the item and that I would have to wait for 6-8 weeks for a refund- I am STILL waiting for $179.99 refund! Don't deal with these people!The customer service is appalling- they never reply to emails and the phone number rings out. Beware!"

"really bad company to deal with. no updates for the order I placed. I called them after about a month, luckily the customer service picked up the phone. They said my order had been cancelled without notice? No communication whatsoever? I am very dissappointed. Don't think they really are true cyclists."

"Be aware of ordering anything from this company! I've been trying to return a damaged item for months and it kept coming back to me. I also tried to call them at ***-***-****, the number was disconnected. Then I tried ***-***-**** and no one answered. Now I'm stuck with an expensive/damaged item. Does anyone know if this company is legit or in existence?"

"AVOID Team Cyclist and its affiliated companies. They cannot guarantee anything they advertise on their site, such as; - Sale items advertised as ready to ship immediately aren’t even in stock - Suggestion that other items ship in 5-7 days is absolute bollocks They take your money and then check stock availability with their suppliers. Sometimes stock is discontinued and they ask you to select another item. I put a big order through, for postage to Australia, I paid US$119 for 2-3 day air delivery. The part of my order they could get from their suppliers they sent standard ground mail, I took over 20 days to arrive and then was missing items they’ve marked as included in the parcel. Their expected delivery date from their suppliers always changes and they don’t email you to advise, you have to log in and check the status of your account yourself. Last time I looked at my account it suggested I would get the last of my order 30+ days after I originally placed it. Don’t say someone didn’t warn you. Try some other sites like www.jensonusa.com or www.chainreactioncycles.com I have always had good experience with them."

"Was overcharged for a bike jersey and told the overcharge was voided and would not require a refund. They ended up charging the card anyway for the retail price and the overcharged price. So, I had to wait over a week to get the unnecessary overcharge of $120 refunded back to me"

"This is a bait and switch scheme. They have things advertised that have been discontinued, yet they continue to advertise them to charge your credit card number. Once your card is charged they will sit on your order and wait until you select something they can get. If you cancel the order you will be charged a %15 "restocking fee. They are simply trying to charge your card. This is a scam. A fraudulent operation that does not operate in good faith. STAY AWAY!"

"I frequently purchase cycling equipment online and have had many great experiences. Not so with teamcyclist.com. They charged my credit card for merchandise that they did not have and could not ship to me. Then after 2 weeks, told me to select something else. I selected a different item, only to again have them tell me they couldn't get it. I asked for a refund and was given a "store credit". After 2 calls and much frustration they told me that they first give a store credit and then 5-7 days later the store credit is actually credited to my credit card. By the time the credit comes through (and it hasn't yet), they will have had my money for 2 weeks for merchandise that they could not ever deliver to me. This place is the worst scam I have ever encountered. They told me on the phone that all websites charge credit card for items that haven't been shipped -- stating that even Amazon.com does it! I don't know about that, but I think charging me for merchandise that they don't have should be illegal."

"This Company is a SCAM !!!! They have NOTHING in stock and are not honest up front. Their web site is plastered with items that say "ships imediatly" this is not true. You can never get anyone on the phone either. Probably because so many people are calling asking where their orders are. Screwed once and never again will I do business with this company. Should have come here before placing my order, because this is the same complaint I am seeing over and over."

"This is a scam site that seems to carry no stock. Th item I ordered was reportedly in stock but upon ordering was suddenly not available. The contact information is a dead-end to nowhere. My item has not shipped and the entire matter is now in the hands of my bank and Visa. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!"

"Fees are not upfront. There are extra fees on back order items ($4 for Americans and $7 for Canadians) but this is hidden in the terms in language that is not very clear and was added after I had complained about the charge (under "I received a partial order. When will I get my other items?"). Back order items are not listed as such but as an item that does not ship immediately. Although they have some of the cheapest prices I'd never order from them again."

"This place is really bad. I ordered an item that said "immediate shipping." Nine days later it still hadn't shipped but they did send me an e-mail saying that they had "talked to the vendor and it would be shipping "very soon." If immediate shipping is at least 9 days, how long is "very soon." None of my e-mails were answered, none of my calls returned. I am going to do my best to cancel my order and get my money back. I will update this review when this is complete. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE - OR DON'T LISTEN TO ME, BUT I BET YOU WILL WISH THAT YOU DID."
