"Ordered a 25 year old bottle of single malt Tomatin Scotch on june 29th and was charged the full amount on July 1st. The Product never shipped and when I contacted customer service on July 3rd about the issue they said they would look into it and call me back. When I called back their voicemail said they were closed until JULY 18th!! Who closes for that long?! I needed this bottle for a business trip on july 10th and now I no longer need it. I still have not received any response from the company and have sent several emails. Very bad customer service and I will never use this company again."

"I ordered my brother a bottle of rare Irish Whiskey and paid extra for it to be delivered ON his birthday. When I didnt' hear from him that he had received it, I called The Whiskey Place to inquire and they advised the bottle had been broken during delivery. This was 3 days after it was supposed to be delivered. They said they would process another delivery. First, why was I not notified of the first bottle breaking? Then, why did I have to call to ask for another bottle to be delivered? If I had not called to check, I would have paid for a gift that was never delivered. I don't usually call people to see if they received their gifts so they can thank me... I prefer they call when they receive it if they like. My brother didn't know he was getting the gift, so obviously did not call. Terrible service, terrible experience, terrible company. Never again."
