Slow delivery, poor communicaton
"I ordered from a vendor across town from me. The tracking info showed that the USPS label had been printed, but the USPS didn't get the package for days. It took more than a week for the book to arrive. Slow response to inquiry."

Great prices, but had a difficulty
"I ordered 3 books, and was notified a day later that the order for one of them would be cancelled due to them not actually having it. They refunded me for the book, but not the shipping. I had to reach out to be refunded for the shipping cost of that book. The other 2 books came in pretty good condition and I’m happy with them. But that experience was annoying, because you may order a book and then have to deal with what I dealt with, trying to be refunded in full (and then buying the book from a different source). Their customer service was very polite though."

My search is over!
"Looking for a book that has been out of print for a while with no copies anywhere to be found was driving me bonkers, till I found it through Hoozer River Books via Alibris. The book was second hand, and the condition when I received it matched how it was described. I'm thrilled to have found a copy of this book that came from a small Canadian publisher and is about a family ancestor (that no one in my family knew existed!). Be aware that tracking stops after it hits New Jersey if shipping to Canada. Customer service from both Alibris and Hoozer River books - AMAZING!"

One of the best decisions I ever made
"I had been looking for an out of print title for roughly 5 years; scouring booksellers sites and online stores with little success. Signing up to receive notification of the book becoming available via Alibris was one of the best decisions I've made. Alibris notified me via email a copy was available and within about 10 minutes, I had completed the purchase and the book was on the way to me. This service is fantastic!"
