terrible service and support
"I ordered a refrigerator from Best Buy and their contractor's guys refused to bring it up the stairs to my house. I have spent days trying to get a credit for the sale and for the Best Buy Plus. On the phone I was told the day that the delivery was not done that I would need to wait a few days and talk to someone. Well when I try to do that I have a hold time of 44 minutes to talk to an agent.
I purchased the same refrigerator from Lowe's and paid less and the following business day their contractor, Mersk, showed up with their truck and the fridge and within 30 minutes it was inside my kitchen.
Best Buy in the past provided exceptional service but those days are over as management wants to save money on people regardless of the impact on their customers."

Website information incorrect and returns very difficult and expensive
"I ordered a part for a GE refrigerator that was a new shelf unit and what I received was only the metal piece that lacked the right and left side plastic brackets needed for its use. It was shipped to me in California from North Las Vegas Nevada and when I wanted to return it they insisted on my shipping it to a location in Georgia.
I sent their customer service people an email asking about sending it back to the warehouse in Nevada but never heard back from them. I tried phoning them but no one has been available for the past two days and no means to leave a message or call back phone number."

"I would not recommend buying a large and heavy item from this company. Their "free" freight actually means that the freight company will drop what you bought in the street in front of your house. To get the item brought onto your property you are on your own with what may be a 450 lb. or heavier generator. The freight company wanted an additional $700 to use a flatbed trailer and to bring a forklift as their "residential delivery" service trucks do not have a power pallet jack or anything else to move the load off the street.
Better to buy from a local authorized Generac dealer that can deal with all the problems of getting the generator brought to your house and placed on the spot where it will be installed"
