"Low price, glasses arrived MUCH sooner than I expected them. Quality is very acceptable for the price. I am a repeat Zenni customer, and I will continue to use them."
"First of all, I must say that I have always disliked Toys R Us, even before they had a website. The only reason I am using them is because I can get 50% off. Now, to the review.... Toysrus.com: how bad are they? Really bad. From terrible product availability to high prices to poor return policies to website problems, there is nothing good about Toys R Us. My previous order from Toys R Us was the wrong thing (my fault), so I needed to return it. Can I return it to a store? Sure, if I want store credit only. Can I get a refund? Only if I pay to ship it back. In today's market, this is very customer unfriendly. My most recent order, and the subject of this review, was a product that was listed as in-stock. I ordered it, only to receive an email an hour later that the product is not in stock, but is back ordered. It has been 14 days, with no word on how long it'll be. This product is available on a lot of other websites. A lot of the stuff I have browsed on Toysrus.com is listed as "In Store Only" or "Out of Stock", but it's all available at Amazon, usually for 20% less. I wanted to order a specific item that showed as In Stock and Available on the website, only there was no button to click to add it to the cart. The product page was there for hours, before finally dropping off the site completely. I am really trying to spend $150 at Toys R Us, but I cannot find anything to spend the money on. What a disgraceful company. I suggest anyone who uses Toysrus.com to comparison shop with Amazon. Amazon will destroy Toysrus in availability, price, speed of shipping, everything."
"SPC Sports has a great price on a bat I ordered, but I mistakenly ordered a bat that wasn't legal for the league I play in. I emailed them as soon as I realized my mistake (shortly after I placed the order) and they canceled my order without a problem. They had great personal service by canceling my order, instead of telling me it was too late, like a lot of companies would do. Next time I need to order the RIGHT bat, I will definitely be checking SPC Sports. (I placed the order on the site "hotbatdeals.com," but the order confirmation I received was from spcsports.com (Hot Bat Deals), so my review deals with spcsports.com)"
"I like Woot, and have bought from Woot several times. But I am from from being in love with Woot for a couple of reasons. Even though Woot offers some seriously great deals from time to time, if you order from Woot, be prepared to wait a seeming eternity to get your item. They take a seriously long time to ship your item, and they use the world's worst shipping service, SmartPost. It is awful. The only other downer about Woot is their inability to have servers that can handle the crush of people during the so-called Woot-Off. Slow reload times, multiple errors, and an inability to order don't speak well about Woot reinvesting in their company to make improvements. In the end, if you can wait a couple weeks to get something you ordered from Woot, and their prices sometimes make it worth it, I say go for it. But if you expect a company to communicate with you and to ship items quickly, Woot is not for you."
"I placed an order with Amazon on Nov 17 2006. A couple days later, I was notified that the item was about to ship, and was given a delivery timeframe. The order was unable to be cancelled at that time, since it was being "prepared for shipment". Within the next couple days, Amazon told me the order was being delayed, and would ship out sometime in the future. I was given no opportunity to cancel the order, and now several days after notification of the delay, the order still has not shipped. Also, and quite interestingly, the current delivery timeframe I get on the Amazon website begins yesterday and continues for 4 days (but only 3 shipping days from today). That's right; Amazon might deliver my order anytime from yesterday until 3 shipping days from now. An order that hasn't even shipped yet. An order placed with regula shipping options, which Amazon usually has delivered to you in about 9-12 days from the date it is shipped out. But hey, you never know, maybe my order will get here yesterday.
When Amazon delayed my shipment, I should have been afforded the ability to cancel the order. The occasion for which I ordered this item has now passed. Now I will have to return the item, and I will be out the shipping costs. And Amazon wil slip further down my list of internet retailers from which to purchase in the future. Nice work, Amazon."
