"I have done quite a number of purchases from this vendor over the past decade or so. On one critical purchase some years back, they really went the extra mile and saved my butt on a serious, and expensive, server mainboard issue. For a very long time, this vendor has provided me with nothing less than outstanding value and service on every item I have ever purchased. My review of this vendor is nothing less than stellar."

"Further edit:
Newegg has gone to great lengths to rectify this situation without me asking for anything more than providing future customers with the proper info. It also appears that Newegg will now be reviewing their product lines and descriptions to include full disclosure of manufacturer's warranties, or the lack thereof. Newegg has indicated that buyers can look forward to complete product disclosure in the future in the product descriptions. Newegg has worked vigorously with me to resolve this issue to my satisfaction, which is something I never expected from any vendor.
Edit to my comments:
PLEASE READ this as this information may be vital. Weeks after purchasing 6 Seagate 500 GB HDDs labeled "OEM", drive only, for $1260, Newegg has informed me that NO manufacturer's warranty exists on these drives. At the time of my purchase, the Seagate web site indicated the drives had a 5 year warranty. BUYER BEWARE! The common practice of intentionally omitting vital product information is starting to be used at Newegg! After three years of outstanding experiences with Newegg, it appears that they may be using common industry tactics of non-disclosure. Very sad! BEWARE!

"Ordered MB combo with a great price shown on pricewatch. Received the standard call trying to increase charges for a number of things. After declining additional charges, I recieved an email canceling my order as a credit card security risk. I was a returning customer with the same information, card working fine on many other current net orders. Strange. Looked on pricewatch to see their price jump considerably for this combo. Their email server seems to be rejecting replies. The confirmation process they request takes weeks. Easier and faster for me to deal with a straight shooter."
