"On February 11, I ordered a cheese platter. Per the site's instructions, it would be expected to be delivered on the 13th. When I received the shipment noticed, it said that it would not be arriving until the 14th. That's a little annoying, but no big deal. The east coast was hit by a nasty storm on the 14th, and the carrier could not deliver my package. They refused to let me pick it up at the distribution center, and did not deliver my now rotten cheese until the 18th. I filled out their online form to file a complaint. No dice. I tried calling customer service. Nothing. When I finally reached someone, they took my information and promised me that a supervisor would call me back. Apparently, a claim would need to be filed with the carrier, and they needed to get that process started before they could talk to me about a refund or replacement. Fine. I was annoyed at how long it took to reach them, but I am not an unreasonable person. I know that the storm was not their fault, and neither was the carrier's inability/refusal to deliver it on time. They never got back to me. It's been almost a month now, and I haven't heard a single word from them. HORRID customer service. I can't speak to the store itself, but if you're considering an online order, go elsewhere. If circumstances beyond your control prevent the prompt arrival of your product, you're stuck with rotten food and a company who never gets back to you. Buyer beware."
