"I should have checked these reviews before placing my order just for some consideration, but honestly, I had an extremely pleasant shopping experience with modchip.com
My order for Xbox modification hardware was placed late in the afternoon on November 9th, 2007. I got a confirmation email on Sunday, the 11th (most likely Monday where they are located--Monaco) stating that everything would be shipped on the 12th and that it usually takes 3-6 business days for arrival.
Generally speaking, I am a pretty patient person and was in no real rush for the hardware, and so after reading some reviews on here, I figured I'd really panic after a month or more.
I just got it today after taking just 10 business days, installed the hardware, and everything works great!
Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones who didn't have any problems? Who knows, but if I need any other Xbox modding stuff, I'll definitely consider them."

"I've just ordered sheet sets from Overstock, but all of my purchases have been great experiences.
A few months ago I ordered some European cotton sheets, which are some of the softest and most comfortable I've ever slept in. My most recent purchase was for a sateen set. I had the set within 4 days of purchasing and only paid for ground shipping.
From what I've read, it seems like there a lot of problems with Overstock's return policy. Given that I wouldn't recommend them for electronics equipment and such that would be more liable to be returned. However, for bedding, I doubt I order sheets from anywhere else except Overstock."

"I've only known about Steep and Cheap for a few months but have ordered a good bit of stuff from them. I always get exactly what I ordered in a timely fashion.

"I ordered an O'Sullivan TV stand from Audio Video Furniture on August 1st. It was $109, weighs 85 lbs, and had free shipping. At the time of purchase, their web site indicated that it was in stock.
I received a confirmation email about ordering it and another one the next day when my status was updated to "paid."
After 5 days, I still had not received a tracking number, so I called customer service. He was very friendly and said that if it hadn't shipped already, it would definitely ship out on that Monday (the 7th).
I got an email with the tracking number that day and got the TV stand on the 11th.
The TV stand is ultra nice for $109. It's about 40" wide and has three shelves, two of which are glass.
I don't know what took them a week to ship it. Maybe it wasn't in stock...no clue. That's my only complaint about my ordering from them. Everything else was handled very well, and I'll probably order from them again."

"I ordered an HDMI cable--$17--since I didn't want to pay $170 for one at Circuit City. Ordered it, received a confirmation email, and had a tracking number when it shipped later that day. It got here 2 days later.
I've got it hooked up between my receiver and HDTV. Works like it should.
They have the absolute best prices on cables/adapters/electronics gadgets, and I will definitely be ordering from them again."

"Ordered an M-Audio Audiophile 2496 from them. Their customer service/sales department called me up to confirm my shipping address since it differed from my billing. I told them just to ship to my billing address, and it went out the door that day. I received the card within a week.
Super friendly service and timely shipping. I will definitely be ordering from them again."
