“Great prices, very fast and correct automatic shipping process. The order arrived very quickly, and was exactly as I ordered. BUT - do not order from them if you need to talk to a person, even to get the order status. Doing so will actually delay receipt of your order.
But if you have the patience to order, then wait for ship confirmation, they're a great place to go. People are right, tho - shipping is very high, but their prices are so low it offsets shipping.
I ordered a MiniDV camcorder & battery from them. As stated, everything arrived new and perfect.”
If you're unlucky enough to need to do an RMA, support is horrible and they do NOT respond to inquiries.
“If you get what you ordered and it's good, great. But Heaven help you if you need assistance of any kind. Their support is terrible. They do not respond to emails, and they do not have phone number to call. It's truly that bad, and I will never buy from them again. I had a chance to order my purchase from Amazon, but decided to go with Monoprice because they were cheaper. Now I see why.”
“Zenni Optical is a legitimate company. My local optrician wants $400 for glasses, and that's AFTER insurance. So I thought I'd take a gamble with Zenni.
I ordered a pair of regular prescription glasses, with all of the options (titanium frame, polycarbonate glasses, antiglare, etc.). The glasses came about 10 days later, and were perfect, as good as anything I'd get locally. All told, it was $65.
So I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses a week later, and ran into the one problem with Zenni, or any other Internet glasses retailer - you can't try them on. When I got the glasses, they were fully functional, but looked completely dorky on my face. I paid $40 for those.
Zenni is definitely well worth it, just try on some glasses at Wal Mart or something to get a feel for what you want and what looks good on you before you go to Zenni.”
