"I ordered a Pioneer VSX-920 receiver from HookedOnTronics because they had the best price I could find. The order was shipped on June 1, which is reasonable, but the receiver box was packed very loosely in a larger box. It would probably have been better to just ship the receiver box by itself. Another thing that was odd was that the UPC sticker on the receiver box seems to have been peeled off. It was a satisfactory experience overall."

"I ordered a set of LGA1366/1156 mounting clips for a Scythe Shuriken cooler I already had. For something so small and light, their UPS shipping prices were somewhat high but at least USPS 1st class was reasonable. The order was shipped quickly and I received the item on the 14th, which is pretty impressive."

"Ordered on Nov. 25, wasn't charged until Dec. 2, and received the order on Dec. 4. That's a fairly slow turnaround time to get an order out (3 to 4 business days just to charge the order, depending on their Thanksgiving vacation schedule), even though the order arrived quickly once shipped.
That said, the price was right and I got the products I ordered just fine. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase."

"I've made many purchases from newegg over the years, and each one gives me a reason to come back. This time was no different. I ordered a Core i7 920, a motherboard, RAM, and Windows Vista Ultimate on this particular order on Sunday. Normally, I would get the items by Tuesday but they had to ship from Tennessee instead of California so I had to wait till Thursday to get it.
Still, the price, shipping speed, and best website in the world in terms of usability makes newegg a great store that I'll keep coming back to."

"I ordered the Hiper Osiris case from Xoxide and the whole process went very smoothly. I ordered on a Saturday using a coupon code in their email newsletter, they shipped Monday, and I got my order on Friday, which is expected considering the package has to go across the country from the east coast to the west coast.
My previous experiences with them have been smooth as well and I expect I will shop with them again in the future."

"Moddersmart had a LGA1366 (Core i7) mounting bracket and the Noctua heatsink/fan I wanted when the Core i7 launched. It seemed like every other store was out of stock, didn't have it in stock yet, or just didn't carry it in the first place.
I was a little worried at first because they're a drop-shipper and they have a fee for cancelling orders (even before they're shipped), but I ordered anyway on Monday morning. They shipped the next day and my order arrived on Friday, just in time with the rest of my components for me to put together my new Nehalem system."

"I ordered several cables and a pack of cable ties, and they sent out the items promptly. One of the items in the order (a round IDE cable) was missing in the shipment, but customer support was courteous and responded the next business day, then sent out the missing item 2 days later.
As the name of the company suggests, the prices they offer for cables are competitive and they also offer reasonable shipping rates (when ordering multiple items). I will consider them again when I need to order more cables."

"I purchased Battlefield 2 (CD-ROM) for a friend of mine and the order went through without a hitch. "I have purchased DVD's from DeepDiscount on a couple occasions previously with no problems, but this time I was disappointed with the transaction.
After I placed an order for 2 items and received an email confirmation, I got a 2nd email confirmation (which includes the Order #) that inexplicably added a 3rd DVD to my order. I immediately emailed DDD about this problem, but they said my only recourse was to send back the extra DVD because the order has already been released for shipping. While they did promptly send me a letter with a shipping label to mail them back the extra item, this does present an extra hassle I'd rather not have to deal with in the first place. Furthermore, I am quite annoyed that they did not catch the discrepancy between my order total as shown on my account page and in the first email confirmation, and what I was actually charged. Finally, when my order did arrive, I noticed that one of the DVD boxes was slightly bent (although the DVD inside was not damaged), while the corners of a cardboard box of a DVD box set were bent as well. With the options of other online retailers with similar prices (and ones with which I have not had such problems), it's unlikely I will order from DDD again."
