"I need roof repair on our house, we had leaks in several places, I inquired about a roofing contractor and was put in touch with one. I was given a quote for the job, once I approved it, 2 men came out and removed the concrete tiles and all the damaged would under them. They worked on it all day, on the second day, one man was here for 4-5 hours and finished everything up, I can't physically get on the roof to examine it, but they took picture before, during and after the repairs and it all looks good to me! VERY HAPPY with their work!"

"John Rupp & Tom stained my exterior cedar shakes & painted the trim, gutters, etc .They are very easy to deal with, professional, helpful, friendly, & personable. They went beyond what I expected. The reasons that I gave them an excellent review are:
1. Called back immediately.
2. Arrange my project quickly because I wanted it done before the cold weather sets in.
3. The painting & staining were excellent.
4. Gave me good advice about other home matters.
5. Would hire them in an instant.
Can't Get Better Than That!"

"The Home Advisor app was not easy to use. I could not find a good fit for a "repair" type electrical service (repair a ceiling that stopped working). I chose the closest item from the drop down presented. For my location two vendors appeared. I inputted my information and sent it but nothing happened the screen did not process and took me back to entering what service I needed again. After inputting data again. The two vendors appeared and I filled out a request to one of the vendors. I was then asked if I wanted to send to other vendors. I clicked on the other list and a 3rd vendor appeared that was just a little outside of the area where I live. In this case, it said it was going to send a text vs. an email. It appeared to then want me to input the data again, so I left the screen.
Not sure what happened next. The vendors that were sent the email requests did not respond yet (they still have 2 business days to do so) but the vendor with the text message, whom I thought was not sent a request, ended up calling me within two hours.
I was glad to have the repair work done but an experienced vendor. However, the HomeAdvisor site was not as easy to use as the old Angie's List website I used a few years ago."

"I've been an Angie's customer for many years. They used to give good service, but it's been really bad lately.
Last night I spent two hours trying to correct my street address on a booking, but failed. They put me on a chat, but the chat disconnected and never picked up again, around 8pm PDT. This morning I called in and was run thru circles. I asked for a call back, but after five hours, they never called back.
I am very disappointed with their service."
