I got detailed email from one of the people at 10101 tires a day later stating that my vehicle did not need the pressure sensors. They described what I should look for just to confirm that I did not need the sensors. It turns out they were right and my account was credited a day later. "Ordering was easy, but had a little trouble with payment - My fault.Paypal is picky about abbreviations. The rep at 1010tires was quick to respond and very courteous. I was hoping for a quicker delivery but about two weeks was fine(I'm a days drive from them). The Tires(Hankook Ventus RH06) are great and at a good price.

"Very helpful and responsive during the ordering process. Placing and paying for the order was easy. Ended spending more than initially planned because the 17" wheels I wanted were back-ordered from the vendor and therefor went with 18"s (~$170 more).
Once the order was placed I received no additional information. A week later I asked about delivery and was told "wheels should arrive Monday or Tuesday". Checked Tuesday (now April 24) and was told that wheels had been received and that I would be processed soon. On the 30th I was told that "your paperwork is on the top of the pile". May 1 the wheels finally shipped and arrived on May 3.
Wheels and hardware were very well packed. Balance seems perfect. Very happy with the new wheels. "
"Great communication and problem solving. Once issue I had was the tracking number for my shipment. I received a tracking number for my shipment on a Friday. I tried this number several times over the next 2 business days and Fed Ex had no record of this shipment. On the 4 business day I did receive my shipment but Fed Ex still had no record of my shipment. Basically I received the shipment very fast but the tracking number was useless and a waste of time. I do love the tires and the price was very good!"

Received email notification of tracking number on Apr 18 @ exactly 3 working days. Order shipped from Ontario to Quebec overnight, received tires in good shape via UPS Ground @ Apr 19. Communication had been good, email, online chat etc. Would buy again. "
"Unfortunately my experience with 1010tires.com left much to be desired. On the positive side of things, they have a good, not great website (no ability to see rims on vehicles virtually, for example), the salesperson I spoke to on the phone was helpful, and the ordering process was easy. The price I paid was very good.
Now the negatives:
1) The salesperson on the phone told me the rims I wanted (19" TSW Mallory) would fit a 2009 Genesis 4.6 Sedan. This is *almost* true, though the front rims do NOT clear the calipers on the 4.6. This required filing of the brake calipers on my part and a real hassle when it came to installation at my local Kal Tire.
2) The salesperson also told me that I would receive the rims within 7 days. After placing the order online, however, I was informed that the rims wouldn't even ship for 14 days (!) and in actual fact it took 16 days before they even got on a truck. Ouch.
3) Ordering the TPMS sensors is goofy....as mine are for a Hyundai, but they insisted I order the sensors for a Honda instead and comment on it in my comments. Clearly they need to upgrade their inventory of accessories on the website or fix the database."
"Clearly 1010TIRES.COM is all about the product and not about the customer communication. After placing my order on the Wednesday and paying by email which was relatively easy. Everything went downhill from there, I had not received any information as to delivery date by the following Monday. As I was anxious to get the tires I phoned to inquire. However the rims were at the Manufacturers and they would not get them till the following Monday. As that pushed it over 3 weeks I asked them to cancel the order so I could get tires elsewhere. They accepted that, however 3 minutes later they phoned me back to tell me they would get the Rims by Friday, this did not feel right, so i insisted on cancelling. He then told me I would have to pay a 15% restocking fee because the rims were on a Truck now. To which I told him the rims haven't even been made yet and it was not my fault he couldn't meet the delivery date. But if he insisted I would indeed not return as a customer and in fact relay my experience with potential customers. I asked to talk to his manager but unfortunately they were not in. After about 3 hours I was sent an email stating that I would get my full refund back however the tires and rims were indeed there at the store? But no proof was attached and then the email went on to say that I was blackmailing them. After numerous phone calls and emails I am still waiting for my refund and in fact any communication with respect to their intentions. Buyer beware, as word of mouth is considered blackmail to these customer reps. On the bright side I was able to get tires from a local dealer so while this case goes on I can drive. It has now been a week with no refund, i will touch back to let you know if they come through or I need to get a lawyer .... Heads up to other companies Communication is key to keeping and retaining paying customers."
