"I do business with 4 different domain registration companies. This experience with 101Domain.com is the worse I have experienced. For example, I was unable to log in to my account, so I contacted Customer Service via Online Chat. I explained my problem and stated apparently could not remember my password. I was told I would need to change my password. I told her I understood that, but in order to change my password I needed to know my old password, which is what their system asked for. She came back and sent me a link stating that would get me to a screen where I could enter some other information and then change my password. I clicked i=on the URL she had sent, and it sent me to a screen that had nothing to do with passwords and gave no option to change my password. I pointed that out to her, and she sent me a different link and told me that on the left side of the screen would be an option to change my password. I followed the link and again there was nothing there. She told me what was suppose to be there, and I sent her back an email telling her exactly what was on the left side of the screen. By this time, we had been chatting for 20-25 minutes and I had to break off the chat without a resolution to my problem.
Today, I was able to log in to the main site with my password, but when I tried to go in to setup my email, I received an error message stating I was using an incorrect password. Additionally, it has been over a week since I registered the domain and the approval status is "Pending" and the email is not able to be set up. NOT a good experience."
"From my overall experience with 101Domain, their support is useless. They never get back to you on time, or if they do, it's with a response that's generally not helpful at all. I would never recommend them. Information on their website (prices advertised, availability check, domain expiration dates, etc etc) is sometimes false and hardly ever reliable. It's a nightmare being a client of 101Domain."
