"after speaking to a well traveled friend I found out that all of my USA products were rated to run on 100VAC to 240VAC 50 or 60 Hz . The salesmen did upsell me from a 150 watt unit to the 500 watt unit. he did not inquire about wither I really needed the unit.
So I did not pack it when I went to Thailand."
