"An awful merchant -- I strongly advise people to stay away from this company. I had the same experience other reviewers had -- rude customer service, dishonest dealings, and no television after two months of waiting and getting the run-around. I finally cancelled the order. I just wish they did not have my credit card information. Though my card was never charged, I really do not trust these people."
"After waiting 3 weeks after purchasing a television on line. I called customer service 3 times. I was put on hold or the call was redirected for a total of a half hour each time. Do not order online from this company. If you are lured in by this company's prices beware. My advice is to call in the order and experience this lack of service. "
"I placed a phone order 7/29 from 123BuyDirect because of the low price on the 46" Samsung TV that I wanted. I was talked into the $99 expedited shipping and 3 year extended warranty but when they charged me for insurance that I was unaware of I questioned the additional charge and they removed it. After receiving the extended warranty papers and a cleaning kit (N/C). I called them to see when I could expect delivery and they said 7-14 business days. I also asked them what the 'pro kit' included for the additional $1259. They gave me some crazy explanation about an add-on power saving feature. When I questioned the expense and mentioned that Samsung knew nothing about a 'pro kit' I was transferred to a extension that rand until it finally disconnected. When I checked my sales order (from CompDirect) I noticed the TV was listed as "Samsung Series 7 LN46A750PK n "46 inch HDTV LCD TV Pro Kit" . I became leery and wondered whether the TV would ever arrive after reading some of the negative comments posted. But, on 8/13 as promised, the Baxter Global Express shipping called to arrange for delivery that morning. The shipping carton had been reinforced so the TV was well protected and arrived with no apparent damage. I set up the TV asap and everything works fine. Nothing different about the TV regarding the pro kit-PK but then again I did not originally order the more expensive PK version (even though the invoice from CompDirect indicated the PK version. Another wierd thing - I noticed on the shipping label that the TV was shipped from Price Mad (NYC) so I'm not sure who's customer I should be commenting on but I must admit I am a fairly satisfied cutomer who will probably order from 123BuyDirect again. I might have been lucky but with the extended warranty (hopefully legit)I probably saved between $500-600 off the lowest offer I'd gotten from the local Best Buy or H.H. Gregg stores. I was charged extra for expedited delivery when it just sent 'ground freight' that should have been free (as advertised).
I have to admitWell invoice PK and that the additional charge ) f ($149)(this mwas leery of ordering from this com"
"Ordered a plasma over a month ago. Called over a dozen times. I was either immediately hung up on after speaking with someone or left on hold over 20 minutes and then hung up on. Their reps are very rude. Worst buying experience ever. Stay far away."
"The worst seller I have ever dealt with.
I ordered an TV at the end of June. They asked me to call to verify the order. I did. They said they shipped it the next day. Every time I called they told me I would get the item in a different amount of time. First a "few days", the 2-3 weeks, then 3-4 weeks. After 3 weeks I found that they never shipped the order and I canceled it. The customer service says its open to 8pm on the website but it if you call then it says it closes at 5pm. The customer service reps are all the worst. They just say "what do you want" and hang up on you. The worst."
"I ordered Sharp LC52D92U Aquos 52 inch HDTV Flat Panel LCD TV from them around Jul 1, and it arrived on Jul 11 (this includes 4th of July holiday!). So yes, these guys ship fast! In my case, I had some issues with communications. 123BuyDirect confirmed the charge, but never confirmed the actual shipment living me worried on whether and when I might expect it. Eventually after 2-3 calls I got shipment info and was able to track the item.
The TV arrived in good shape (still have to install it). The price was slightly below "market average" at pricegrubber, so given 123BuyDirect's reviews I decidet to go with them. It appears, the item was shipped from Price Mad who has horrible ratings here but (or therefore) offer the same TV at 300-400$ discount! So those of you who are willing to risk may save more.
Third, at the moment I called to 123BuyDirect they warned me that this item was "class A reconditioned" meaning it was never opened but was returned from a warehouse of some other seller (Price Mad?) to the Manufacturer for inspection etc. I decided to go with this purchase because 123BuyDirect claimed the Warranty would still apply. The only thing this info was not there at 123BuyDirect's page."
"On June 23, 2008 I placed a order with a salesmen named Louis for a Samsung 46 inch HDTV. On that same day my CC was charged. I was told that my shipment would go out on Monday the 23rd of June and would take 7-9 days to be delivered. It actually did not ship until the 26th. Here it is the 10th of July and still no TV. I have emailed them 4 times without a reply back. I have called and talked to 8 different people, that all gave me a different story. It went from 7-9 days to 10-14 days and now 15-20 days for ground shipping. They just keep adding days when the date before has come and gone. One of my first questions I asked was how long for ground shipping and was told 7-9 days only to find out that they say that only to get your order. Another question I asked if the TV was in stock at their location, his answer was let me check and came back with yes. This was not true from what I was told later, it came from a warehouse locations and did not get picked up from the carrier until the 7th of July. This company does not play fair or care about repeat business. When I called and talked to two different managers they could care less and said your TV is on the way, what else do you want us to do? I will never purchase another item from them even if they were half price of anyone else. Buyer beware!!!"
"My experience with 123BuyDirect was a bumpy ride with a happy ending, so this is a mixed review Despite several negative (mostly bait and switch type) reviews posted on websites, I selected them because 1) they offered a great price on a Sony KDL-52XBR4 and 2) most reviews sounded positive. So I placed my order via their website on Sat, Jun 14. On Jun 15 one of their sales reps called me to confirm my order, but said a few things that raised "bait & switch" warning flags. First, he said that 123BuyDirect is not an authorized Sony dealer, hence Sony would not honor the warranty, but he could sell me a 3-yr warranty for $300. Second, the XBR4 that I ordered is a 2007 model, but he could send me a much-upgraded 2008 model for just $300 more, plus he would throw in the warranty and an HDMI cable for no additional charge. Sounded like a reasonable offer at the time, so I accepted, thinking I would be getting a 2008 version of the XBR4. My credit card was charged that day, Jun 15.
On Jun 28, I received an invoice in the mail for a KDL52W4100PK Pro Kit showing an Order Date of Jun 19. Also included in the mail with the invoice was a CD that contained the warranty details. On Monday I contacted Customer Service (open Mon-Fri only) and they referred me to my original salesman. I explained I had ordered the XBR4 and was surprised to see a different model on my invoice. The sales rep suggested that I do some research to compare the specs of the two models. He said I would find that the W4100 is superior to the XBR4. Well, it turns out he was actually right, so I agreed to go with the 52W4100, especially after he offered an additional discount. During this process, I contacted him 4 or 5 times, and never had any problems getting through to him. My longest wait was maybe 5 minutes. In each case he politely answered all my questions to my satisfaction.
On Jul 2, I received a call from a local dispatcher that my TV had arrived and would I be able to accept delivery the next day. They gave me a 1-hour time window for delivery. I asked them to call me 30 minutes prior so I could drive home from work in time for the delivery. The next day, everything went like clockwork, they called me at work right on schedule, and 30 minutes later I met the delivery truck at my house. They had the TV in its original carton strapped down securely in the upright position. The driver then helped me carry the TV upstairs, then helped me remove the TV from the box so I could inspect it for any damage. All parts were there, including the extra HDMI cable as promised. The driver helped me lift the TV onto the stand, and it looks and works great. So, bumpy ride with a happy ending.
BTW, I’ve seen a few postings asking what is a PK or “Pro Kit” model. At one point the sales rep tried to imply that Pro Kit means the set itself has some additional enhancements over the non-PK model, but I see no evidence of that claim. My guess is that Pro Kit must be some sort of industry code associated with Grey Market merchandise. The Sony website makes no mention of PK or Pro-Kit model variances. The Sony label on my shipping box had “Pro Kit” stamped on the label after the label was printed. There was no additional “kit” contained in the shipping carton, unless the additional HDMI cable is considered a kit.

"Buyer Beware!
When you buy cheap you will receive cheap, and with cheap comes all the problems.
Try to solve problems with a "customer service" that sucks!!!
Find another dealer and you are better off."
"I've never posted a review on any web site but I'll make sure to hit every these idiots show up on and give my 2 cents! These Guys are a absolute joke, complete scam artists! Their customer service, if that's what you want to call it, is non-existent. They did not respond to 3 different e-mails and when called on the phone, plan on spending 1/2 your day trying to talk to one of these LIARS. Waited two weeks for the Samsung TV to ship, why if they had it in stock like they claim? During this two week period I called and asked what was going on and got nothing but empty promises. The last time I called they said it had been shipped because it says ground shipped on the computer, well there was no way it had been shipped because my Discover Card had yet to be billed. If you don't have the product in stock or readily available to ship from a warehouse, then don't jerk your prospective customers around, lie and say you do. A complaint was filed with the BBB. Pay a little more and get good service, price isn't everything, even Satan masquerades as an angel of light! Don't let them lure you in with the low prices, just to get scammed!
YOU BETTER TAKE MY ADVICE AND NOT ORDER FROM THESE JERKS! DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED!!!"
" TOTAL SCAM-Never read or wrote a review until now!
After considering a 46" LCD TV I ordered one in early May. Nothing was processed until I called to follow up on it's status one week later. At that time I received the up-sell to an extended warranty. I declined. On 5/20/08 they attempted to deliver a refurbished model in a broken down white van with it's name painted on with a paint brush! I declined.I sent an email to the company that I refused delivery, to credit my credit card and that no further deliveries would be accepted. No response from them.
The following day I was told they "picked the wrong item in the warehouse and they would send out the new in box model".
I declined.I was told what I received was a " Class A Refurbished model". I have no idea what that means nor do I care, but it is not what I ordered.123BuyDirect called back to say they found my TV in their North Carolina warehouse, which of course does not exist. For about the 4th time I told them our dealings were over. Now two days later I am receiving calls from a shipping company trying to get to the bottom of this matter.I am told they apparently operate under different names as well.

"Apalling customer service, lying. Stay Away!
I ordered a 52" Samsung TV and was only later told it would take 21 days for the truck to deliver to me, and there is no tracking possible. After 23 days I called and was told they would put a trace on it. Diego said the TV was lost by the shipping company and they would send a new TV, 7-10 days shipping. Multiple phone calls later Brian the sales manager, lied to me and said the TV was "damaged". When I confronted him that someone was lying he said "Lost or damaged, what's the difference?" I cancelled the order on the spot and bought the same TV from OneCall.com for the same price, 7 day free delivery and a free wall bracket.
123BuyDirect's web site says "Thank You For Shopping at 123BuyDirect.Com where Customer Service is our #1 Priority.------" Their phone manners are awful, they lie and treat you like you're interrupting their day. Worst customer service I've had in a long time."
"Their prices beat out the competetion, I would order from them again. All was well priced through their website and it was delivere in a couple of days. Great job!"
"Dreadful experience. Two days after making the purchase online, I got the email that I had to call to "confirm my order." I called and got the upselling pitch, which I declined. They said it would take up to four weeks for the TV to be delivered. "Okay, that seems long, but it's a good price, so I'll wait." I checked my account on the website a few days later, that said it had "ground shipped," but no tracking number. I called a week later to see if there was a tracking number -- they confirmed it had ground shipped but they don't have tracking numbers for that type of shipment. My wife called three weeks later -- "it had ground shipped." I called again a week ago, since it had been 8 weeks -- "Oh, that item was on backorder and now we can't get it. Didn't anyone call you?" NO. Terrible customer service, rude, unknowledgable representatives (at least the last guy apologized when cancelling the order), and an overall bad experience. Stay away!"
"I ordered 2 Samsung LCD TV's from this site at what appeared to be good prices. However, I received an email to call and confirm my order and when I did, they informed me they no longer have these televisions in stock and tried to talk me into buying something else (we call this the old "bait & hook"). I told them I wanted the items I ordered and was told it could take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks for them to have these TV's in stock and another 2 weeks for delivery. At that point I just cancelled my order."
