"Nothing like listing items on your site with a tag, ships in 24 hours, and then 9 days later being told its not available. And that's after a few emails and phone calls checking on the orders status. And when I asked why it took them so long to let me know, I was told its not available is all. A quick check of the website and its still listed for sale with stock. I asked for a 2nd option, and never got a response. I'll never use them or recommend them no matter what good review they get. And I strongly suggest everyone look elsewhere."

"I ordered a doorbell camera from 123securityproducts.com. I did not hear anything from them after ordering for two weeks, so I started reaching out and was told that the product was backordered. After being given several different dates of potential shipment, I realized that the shipment would continue to be pushed back. I contacted the manufacturer of the doorbell camera that I had ordered to ask if there was in fact a backorder, and they said that they had plenty of stock in hand for over a month. When I brought up 123securityproducts.com as the vendor I had purchased through, the manufacturer told me that 123securityproducts.com is NOT AN AUTHORIZED VENDOR, and thus should not have this product listed on their site. At this point, 123securityproducts.com still had my money, and it had been almost a month since I placed my order, so I asked them about the shipment one more time. They claimed that they would "dropship" the item to me and I would have it the next day. I was worried about 123securityproducts.com not being an authorized seller, but I was glad that I would finally have the product I ordered. Unfortunately, the product was not delivered to me the next day as promised and it actually took several days to even get a tracking number and shipment confirmation. The reason I ordered through 123securityproducts.com was because their price on the item was the best I had seen at the time. Unfortunately, after they "dropshipped" the item to me, they charged my credit card a second time for the difference in price, adding another $26 to the $175 order WITHOUT ASKING MY PERMISSION and WITHOUT MY CONSENT. This has never happened to me before, and I'm so glad that I monitored my credit account, as I was able to catch this transaction while it was still pending and have them cancel it. I had a horrible time dealing with several of the customer service agents, namely Amy, Jesse, and ESPECIALLY Karen, who seems to be the VP and owner of the company. When I asked about the dropshipping process, she responded to me by email starting with "duh!" which was also a first for me, as it seemed extremely unprofessional. This company's practices are extremely shady, and if you're ordering from them because of the price or the BBB rating, I implore you to consider the issues I faced. "We ordered an August smart doorbell on 12/2/19. It is now the 19th and have called three times now and have emailed. We kept getting promised all different dates for our product to ship to us, including today. I waited until about 3:30 PM today (over two weeks after ordering the product) to ask if it was fulfilled like they emailed me and told me it would be. Instead I was told that they screwed up and have to tell me and other customers our orders need to be cancelled because they don’t have the product. Our product’s part number was being mixed up for a different one in their system or something. Then, Gabrielle wanted to get me with her manager, because she felt I had complaints to file. Based on the reviews on here, I asked if the manager was named Karen, and she said yes. When I confronted her and stated the reviews on here state Karen doesn’t answer phone calls and doesn’t return emails, she told me Karen was right beside her and asked me to wait a second. She transferred my call after a minute or so, it rang and rang, but ultimately went to voicemail. Thanks for nothing, Karen. Oh, and not even one “we apologize for this mistake”. I let the representative, Gabrielle, know it was disappointing as it was my first time ordering with them and that I probably would never buy from them again. Gabrielle just stated “that’s fine” and went on about how she now has to call other customers and I’m not the only one like it made it any better. STAY AWAY from this horrible and pathetic excuse of a business! It is probably 5 people sitting in a small room. "
"Needed a full system put together for a client last month, it was a larger job my company usually takes on so I needed some guidance. Jesse built me a 64 camera system from top to bottom, explained exactly what components I would need and even drew up a camera placement diagram from a google maps image of the location. I called 3 other companies for quotes on this before I got in touch with 123 and none of them took the time to actually suggest anything or help me through the process, everyone else just wanted exact model numbers and quantities to quote. I'm not sure we would have been able to satisfy this customer if it hadn't been for Jesse walking us through the system and getting exactly what we needed. "
"We purchased a Cantek CTPR-TV808-2TB which was our 6th DVR Surveillance system from 123SecurityProducts.com. We have had trouble logging in so we needed to reset password but could not get into the system. They told us they don't Support that Cantek anymore even though it's only two years old. So they said we had to call the manufacturer Avycon which we did. Avycon said they did not make that model but to call HikVision which we did. HikVision said that they did not make that model and we should call back 123SecurityProducts.com and find out the manufacture. I have left several messages on the manager's (Karen) voicemail (who never picks up the phone) with all the detailed info but no return calls. Now I believe they are screening my Caller ID and now I never get anyone to pick up phone. Their website clearly states they give 24/7 lifetime support on all products. Apparently not. All I wanted was a number to call so we can reset the unit to factory defaults. But they won't even do that. Stay away from this company. I've been ordering from them for 10 years several DVR surveillance systems, cameras, cable, connectors, tools and I never once complained about anything. The one time I need help they refuse. We have a unit only 2 years old that is basically junk now unless we can get someone to help us reset unit.
