"I originally placed my order on December 14th for delivery on December 21st. One gift basket was unable to be delivered due to COVID-19 as no one was in the office to accept the delivery. I contacted 1-800 baskets to change the delivery and they advised me to contact FedEx. I called FedEx where they informed me that the address was unable to be changed due to the delivery containing alcohol. I called 1-800 baskets again to let them know I still needed to change the delivery address. I spoke with a woman and she advised me that she changed the address and it would be shipping to the new address on December 23rd. On December 23rd, the item was not delivered to our recipient. I called 1-800 baskets again and they still had the incorrect address, almost as if the first representative did not change the address at all. How convenient? I spoke to a man, Jose` for over one hour. He informed me that he had changed the address again and it should now be delivered on January 2nd. I was upset that it was now being delivered after the holidays, but was happy they were still going to receive their basket. I did not receive a confirmation email, tracking number, or confirmation of delivery. I assumed it had been delivered until I received a call on February 11th from our recipient stating they had not received their gift basket. I am embarrassed and infuriated with the customer service I received. I call AGAIN and speak to two different woman, both of which could not locate any information on a change of address for the gift basket. I was placed on hold numerous times and the representatives still kept asking me what the issue was with my order... I understand representatives are working from home during this time, but there is no need to have screaming and laughter behind the calls. It is very unprofessional. I called one last time before taking further action and I was able to speak to Mark. Mark had tried placing the order again for me to the correct address. Unfortunately, since it is almost two months later, the gift basket was no longer available. He offered to provide us with an alternative gift basket, but at this point I just wanted to be done with this company. Mark had placed a request for a refund and I was advised it should post to our account within 3-5 business days. We will see. Mark has been very helpful, however, I think other representatives could use a lot more customer service training. I will never order from this company again, nor will I recommend. "
"I ordered 2 things. THEY NEVER CAME TO MY HOUSE. I don't know where they delivered but not me. I calles in to complain and 2 agents hung up on me before an Erica picked up. It took me 10 minutes to get her to do a refund. She talking about 15% refund and a redelivery. It was like talking to a brick wall. After I requested a Supervisor she finally agreed to refund. Then had an attitude when I asked for a confirmation number and had the audacity to try and sign me up for some membership bull. Whew. Horrible. Experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. THEY ARE TRASH."

"Do not do business with these people. On 12/18 I ordered a basket, their website kept getting stuck during the ordering process and I had to back out and re do parts of the order. The next day I logged into my account and they had charged me THREE times for THREE orders of the exact same thing to be delivered to the same person. I emailed the company at the address they had on their website - no answer for 2 days. Today I called them after no return email from this company. They said they WILL NOT CANCEL the two extra orders that I didn't order despite the fact that it hasn't shipped, it is not in transit yet, etc - I can see the order status progress on my account page of their website. Their website triple charged my credit card and they expect me to pay for their website error. The customer service rep wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor, she told me the supervisor was "busy" and she is not allowed to cancel any orders. If customer service can't cancel orders that their own website generated in error, then who can? These people are theives."
"This was my first experience with 1800Baskets and it could not have been worse. The delivery timelines were not met, no status update of the delay was provided (even though they have my email) and when I tried chatting with their representative on website, the agent simply disconnected. When I called, the first agent put me on hold for more than 10 minutes and the call disconnected. The second agent cited computer problems and said he could not help.
Now that the purpose of the order is lost, I do hope they will deliver someday. The website does not give me an option to make any changes! The customer support is beyond unreliable."

"I went through six customer service agents before they understood a simple request to apply the celebration passport purchased in a separate order placed earlier in the day. That was just the understanding. The 1st persons said if I submitted my order he could remove the deliver/service charge, but once order was submitted he stated that he was not trained in celebration passport and transferred me to Harry and David, I was disconnected from the 2nd, the 3rd could not find my order placed earlier in the day and just hung up, the 4th said I need to speak with Harry and David and transferred me, the 5th understood perfectly and was in the process of fixing the problem when we’re disconnected, at this point I was too frustrated to explain this again so I just called and canceled. I am done with this entire establishment. I’ll take the loss for the celebration passport cost."

"I placed an order on July 22nd for a gift for my mother who was recovering from surgery. The order total was $74.17, to include a surprisingly high shipping charge of $29.98. While I initially thought the shipping fee was a little excessive, I let the matter go as the package was promised to be delivered "on or by" the 25th.
Well, the 27th has now come, and the package has still yet to be delivered or the order even processed. Upon calling customer service, I was just told that I had the "wrong information" and the package isn't scheduled to be delivered until the 30th. When I asked why the change in delivery and/or the reason for the delay, the rep's answer was, "it could be for any number of reasons." The rep then refunded the $14 "service fee", (which I cannot find itemized anywhere on the original invoice,) and assured me that the package "should" be delivered by the 30th. Should be...
This is unacceptable. Had I known that it would take over a week and a half to get a simple bucket of cookies to my mother to the tune of a $30 shipping fee, I would have never made the purchase to begin with. Also, I did not have the "wrong information" regarding tracking; I merely have the information provided at the time of ordering, (which is still listed as the 25th on their status page on the website,) bereft of any updates to the contrary from their end.
While I understand the additional logistical challenges during COVID-19, I still expect advertised delivery dates to be honored. If 1-800-Baskets cannot do that, then they should probably not make false claims that they can while charging $30 for shipping. It's for this reason that I refuse to order from 1-800-Baskets in the future, and will ensure my friends know of the issues that I had with a simple order. "
