"Excellent. No problems at all. Would recommend."

"I ordered the Market Grade 512MB PC2700 / 333Mhz DDR memory for an excellent price of $8.47 with free standard shipping (supposed to take ~6-8 business days to arrive). I found 1st Choice Memory through Pricewatch.com. I ordered the RAM on 10/3 Monday, it shipped on 10/5, and arrived on 10/8 Saturday in a bubble-wrap envelope. RAM appears to be working just fine, for 2 days. So far, very pleased with professionalism, delivery time frame, and of course, price! Thank you!"
"hell no they didnt they did not send me exactly what i ordered they sent me what they said was backwards compatible and it wont work because of that i simply ordered the max size of ram my pc could handle"
"Fantastic!Exactly what I needed to speed my computer up!! I just made another order.I will continue purchasing my computer parts needs here in the future."
"Memory arrived on time, doubled what I had in the pc and made an old pc a little faster. I couldn't ask for more."
"The experience was great as usual, I recommend 1st choice memory to all of my friends."
"I received my order about a week after I ordered it. The problem is there is no communication about when they sent it or where my order is. I got my shipping information a day before I received my order. I was beginning to think that I lost my money on a bad company. Communication is needed."
"Good stuff. Got the memory, but frankly, my computer is dying and it just isn't enough to save it. But they did a great job."
"Not good sadly. I received memory for my computer which, although the correct type of memory, it was too large due to heat sinks/shields being part of the design. The picture on the website was of the other type. I was told they just use a generic photograph on their site by their trouble staff. I later found out the memory they sent me has been documented many times as not being suitable for my type of computer due to space issues. I would suggest they get more up-to-date images with their products to avoid problems like this. I would also suggest they update their compatibility reference sheet so this doesn't happen again. I will say their staff was nice and willing to replace the memory. Unfortunately, I would have had to wait another week before my part got to them, plus another week of shipping to get the correct part. Couldn't wait any longer and went local."
"The whole experience from the research to the technical advice to the actual purchase was excellent. The techs and the other reps were patient and informative. The communicated in plain language and above all they were excellent listeners. They are definitely on the repeat business list."
"it was a little slow in getting here. Still have yet to get it put in. Otherwise, RAM is RAM, but yours had the best price"
"As always my order shipped and arrived as promised and memory was compatible. My thanks and appreciation to those at 1st Choice Memory."
"It was quick and easy from the shopping to the delivery. So far the product I bought seems to be working great. So I would highly recommend 1st Choice Memory to my friends and family. In fact, I was going to see what type of computer my Mom has and see if I can upgrade it. Looks like I'll be shopping your website again. Thanks!!

"Although I got an Order #, I never got my order...
I went with 1st Choice due to their having the item I wanted, at a good price, and their good ratings. Unfortunately, I was disappointed...
My order went through just fine and I was awaiting word on (and tracking # for) my package, but unbeknownst to me, it wasn't coming. I got an e-mail 4 days later (9-26-11) saying my order had been cancelled due to the item being sold out! Outrageous. It took them 4 days to find that out.
They should not be even listing stuff they don't have, let alone selling it -- allowing orders to go through -- and then later on tell people the item is sold out.
Consequently, I won't be shopping 1st Choice again, as I would not know if I was going to get anything from them or not.
So, I am not able to rate anything else about 1st Choice (out-the-door order processing time, shipping time, e-mail notifications re: shipping, any RMA experiences, Customer Service, etc.), just what relates to my particular experience: That they sell stuff they don't have, which wastes your time when you could have ordered -- and received it -- from elsewhere.
1st Choice is not ready for Prime Time with the big dogs of the online vendor world. At the very least, they need a better up-to-date REAL TIME inventory system so people don't order items not available for purchase.
I do not recall seeing anything saying "out of stock" but if I had, I wouldn't have ordered it as I don't do back orders even. But again, if an "out of stock" notice WAS there then still, they should not even list it as it's not available for purchase.
I don't mind trying new vendors -- helping to support the "little guys" or new companies just starting out -- but things like this make me think I should stick with my usual vendors who are more together.
So maybe if they DID have the item in stock things would have been fine, but I'll leave those reviews to others who DID go through the whole ordering experience, not to people like me who didn't even get to First Base with them.
